It was the end of 2019 when KZbin begin to recommend's me a big list of videos in my home page and in the beginning of 2020 one of this videos was about INFJ and from this moment I began seeking information about the MBTI but more than a year before that in October 2018 I was interested about introverts and extraverts and I remember that I done a 16 Personalities test which gave me INFJ result without knowing anything about the MBTI at that time. I actually didnt know what is that result for.

For me its more of a urge to wonder to know if i can be another type... i think thats thts the root cause. Because most of us DONT actually wanna be a infj i guess

I am most likely an infj. I match most things. However, i can be persuaded by emotion even though i am stubborn. Am i an infj?

I found out by taking a test online. The result said INFJ and I didn't have any clue what that meant, then I started reading the description and was like "Oh. My. God. this is me". I've never felt more validated as a human being. It was like FINALLY the puzzle pieces started coming together! I no longer feel like such a freak. Well sometimes, but way less than before.

A true INFJ just knows. Empathic, clairvoyant. Answering questions that people didn't verbalize and responding to things they didn't say. Going down to the beachfront homes and warning them about a storm I saw in a "flash vision" like a GIF video accompanied by a complete working knowledge of an event. I was IN the storm about 10 or twenty feet in the air. I smelled the salt air and felt the power of the storm but didn't fear it. I WAS the storm. Sitting on a bus, looking out the window and suddenly being in another time, looking at a military green hovercraft flying over snow covered houses searching for survivors then suddenly back on the bus in hot Summer weather. Funny looks from people as I said "Oh my God." Just suddenly knowing something about somebody or something. Reacting to things before they happen. Either I'm an INFJ or a Jedi and Jedi are just fiction. INFJ's also encompass qualities of other types. Sorry, I just zoned out and missed half of what you said. I was tempted to link a video here but that would be rude.

half the time I take the MBTI, I come out INFJ, the other half of them INFP. but reading and watching videos on both and all the comparisons, INFJ resonates with me. I think the confusing test results come from a LONG life of fitting a square peg into an (acceptable) round hole. I DO this or that, but I really do it from conditioning not from who I really am, if that makes sense. The functions make a lot more sense of it. I am definitely INFJ.
@matthiascl.weinlich354 жыл бұрын
Made the same experience. Until finding MBTI I just thought there is something wrong with me. Putting myself into a box helped for itself. Still, when I first made the test The answer was INFP. Reading about it I didn’t find myself at all. So I forgot about it until I found a text and I felt like finally I am understood. But It was about INFJs.

This box scares people as I get so set in what I know is right with being a Tech Nerd that they are sometimes afraid to tell me things need to change and I get blindsided by them and still blow my lid. People walk on egg shells around me because I get so set in the Tech part of my Volunteer work. I only get so set in my ways because no one where I volunteer knows what I have learned and studied since high school in 1995. Tech is always changing in the way Comptuers operate, how websites are done and things about servers I study and study and study. I just don't feel like I am being herd when I volunteer and I end up blowing up at them including my boss who I have worked with for over 20 years (2 churches and 1 non-profit) and still they don't seem to trust me or are afraid to tell me something is changing for fear I might blow up.

EXTRAORDINARY! Extraordinary...! Thank you! Thank you! C.S. Joseph says the INFJ is "The tip if the spear" for positive change in humanity. A tall order, without a doubt. YOU, Wenzes, DEFINITELY, ARE. Your mission, is a sacred one. I, and SO many others, are fortunate beyond words, to have you as our Great Guide. Stay safe, and be well!

So, I'm currently binging your videos. And I've just started this journey of figuring this stuff out. Thus far, ALL your vids have resonated with me tremendously. So, I'm fairly leaning to INFJ, thought I'm not 100% yet. I've watch a plethora of self help stuff, seen some decent therapists, but legit, these video's are the most helpful things I've stumbled across on the KZbin-Galaxy. I think I'm either a INFJ, or mostly one. Either way It's a hell of a lot more narrowed down. I've figured out why me and some people just don't "click". BIG HELP. :D THANKS :D

I really enjoy the way you present. I've been watching other infj information and its daunting. I've been asking friends but they don't seem to know what they are. I don't know if this is typical but I lose a lot of friends. Burnout, they just cannot maintain with me. It's like I'm too intense. I feel too much for something.

Wenzes, one important thing I learned from you was (and still is) the individual cognitive functions of the MBTI personalities. I took the Myers Briggs test in 1985 (about 6 years before there was a viable internet) and knowledge of the functions wasn't as accessible as it is now. Your explanations of the functions deepened my understanding of the subject and of myself. Since my initial test, I've taken the test on IDR Labs at least twice - one time in Spanish - showing me to be an INFJ. Socionics confirmed it. The Enneagram didn't actually say that I was, but I think my scores bear it out. Any doubts I could have had about being an INFJ don't exist anymore.

I’ve taken the test 4x. The 1st was at a team building session for a new group I was working in. We had a facilitator administer the test and give us our results. Mine was INFJ. THE 2nd time was at another team building session, except this time we scored ourselves. There was 1 question i got hung up on so I marked it. When I scored myself I was INTJ. I went back and changed that 1 question and rescored myself. It was INFJ. The other two times I did online tests. Both came out INFJ. After watching these videos and some others I see me a whole lot in the content. Some traits Wenzes refers to I don’t see. I take care of everyone but me. I feel their emotions and stress, often times it feels like deja vu, I’ve felt that. I am always the big picture person and people respect me at work for being able see and anticipate different outcomes that others don’t see. If I have to conduct training at work a lesson plan for a group of 20 is totally unproductive. I’d rather work with people one on one so I can read what they don’t understand and change my presentation to meet their needs. I see everything from both sides which makes it difficult to sometimes be strong about my personal view. I over analyze and ruminate over everything, bad and good. Average sleep is 3 hours a night. I do work a lot of hours at a very highly productive pace, but that’s only because I am working in a field of primarily engineers and I have no degree. My 1st supervisor, when I was 20, was similar in education. He taught me that in our line of work with no education we have to work twice as hard as everyone else to get respect. 42 years later I am still working the same. I do like to write.

Just don't read descriptions and decide you're an infj b/c you like the nlp words like hsp or esp or empath. Learn what ni fe ti se and the shadows mean. Figure out 1 function you have, & which position it is for you. Now you got it narrowed down, figure out 1 more function and you know which one you are. No type has 2 functions in the same spots. Figure out 2 of them and you know all 4.

My extroverted feeling is very much geared to issues of social justice. I seem to have a strong feeling for when people are being mistreated. and it irks me when others are oblivious to suffering. This tells me I am INFJ rather then INTJ.

What is extroverted sensing like?, any examples to contrast with introverted sensing?
@Wenzes4 жыл бұрын
I have to do more videos on this topic...extroverted sensing is everything that has to do with external force...bringing power to the outside world...introverted sensing is about inner calmness, holding on to inner sensations...you will see when you around someone who doesn't value SI at all...for example ENFJ/ENTJ...we too get rather "un"calm on the inside because it's hard for us not to get influenced unbalanced SI

The first time I did the 16 personality type it is already I NFJ. So I never think of another option. But still I don’t quite believe MBTI at that time because I did not fully investigate on it. After I meet my friend who is also an INFJ at an art exhibition ( we are docents!) I don’t know why I just start the conversation of MBT I because I find her weird. I am so shocked by her, she seems to have similar ideas as I do. Then I start to study the functions and I can’t believe there is a system that can explain my chaotic mind and personal growth. We remain very close spiritual friends. Even though we don’t always meet physically we talk a lot.

When I talk to myself at random; I say a word followed by the same word being spoken on tv or radio, same in conversations. my thoughts are often on words someone was about to say or i just say what they where “about to say” , feels like a multi-split personality disorder but there is a conductor; too powerful to lose rhythm🎶 of that beat💖
