INFJ PERSONALITY TYPE SECRET: Today we're talking about why so many INFJs lack energy, and it has everything to do with the combination of Introverted Intuition and Extraverted Sensing - meaning our first and our fourth function. See for a lot of other types, if they're going on an unhealthy route, they might overextend themselves. They might put out too much energy and then burn out. For us, it's the other way around. We minimize what we do in the real world, so we stop creating new energy. It's like a battery of a car. If you're not using it in a way where it creates new energy by driving it, you just sit there and you let the radio or the light on you're going to have less and less energy.
And we're going to talk about how you can reverse that and have a life where you feel fully energized to do everything you ever wanted to.

Something to consider with our energy; I had gone to such a low place that I had actually stopped eating enough(which obviously leads to less physical energy). Putting it out there just in case anyone else could be overlooking this :)

I am a natural slim person and have never really gained weight in my whole life, I have a good appetite and eat more than average in hopes of gaining weight,strength and energy as a result but to no avail.. I often feel tired and sleepy after a full meal, but if I don't eat enough I lose weight easily, it's a predicament for me to have a balanced diet, but it seems no matter what I do or how much I eat, my weight remains more or less the same!
@sarahmugo1076
@sarahmugo1076 Жыл бұрын
@@MimiBigCat Perhaps it’s not so much the weight but the energy. The quality of food eaten seems to have an effect on energy, whole nutritious food will leave you feeling more energized compared junk/ processed food, at least from my experience. Gentle exercise also helps a lot(key on the GENTLE), I walk for an hour everyday (life changing). This far that is what had worked for me Hope this helps if not I hope you find the best remedy for you as it varies from person to person :).

I thought I had to be alone to gain more energy. However, I realize now that I gain energy when helping others or doing something productive that makes me feel good about my life. Even allowing someone to do something nice for me. For years, I was discouraged from pursuing an advanced degree and starting a business. These are no longer far fetched ideas but can be reality! Its great to have someone pour into you especially when they share your disposition. Its such a rarity for me and it shouldn't be! We have energy we just are used to responding instead of acting on what we want. Yes, I tried to live vicariously through other energy that only works for a little while lol. We have our own energy but we must care for ourselves not put everyone ahead of ourselves.

Do I feel like I am running low on energy ? Yes. This happens to me more so in the winter time than any other time of the year. I am cold natured and I also wear more clothing in order to stay warm during my work day and the weight of that wears me down throughout the day. Result is me being more tired after work and not getting some things done. I am definitely looking forward to spring and summer.

Exact opposite. But - I think I have reverse Seasonal Affective Disorder. - nothing snaps my energy more than clear sunshine (when it’s warm OR if it’s cold!) I work in the educational field so I get part of summer off work, and I appreciate the time to myself without having a forced schedule. Still, however, it’s depressing to be hot or to even deal with temps above 72 degrees. I start getting depressed and low on energy right away.

So I stumbled upon this channel a few weeks ago, and holly shit did I need this right now. It's amazing to feel like someone finally understands me on a deep level. I'm nearly 40 years old and not a single person understands me on anywhere near this level, not for lack of trying on my part, it just tends to make people pull away (which is obviously the last thing anyone wants when opening up to someone). So many of her videos have been helping me confirm what I'd already been contemplating and concluding on things surrounding my life, which has helped me feel even more confident and actually take action. Example, this one about energy is perfect for me in the last couple days as I've found I'm feeling that has been my last little details which has slowed my action taking down. I can't thank you enough for putting this information out there! It's exactly what I've been needing to get myself out of this whole I've felt I've dug myself into.

Great example of low energy with the car battery, depleting with the radio or light being on, while sitting not driving, because I think our human body is a vehicle vessel for a human soul/spirit, that needs to be well maintained and tuned up to run smoothly, with having a well sleeping schedule healthy eating habits and being physically active as well as mentally active(for the brain and mental that’s like an engine)

Bit of a lightbulb moment on this... The idea that I need to limit how much I rely on "alone time", and instead find some specific things that add energy is spot on! To me, when I'm in introvert-mode, it seems counter-intuitive; but I was mixing up stopping being drained by things and receiving energy from things. I was closing myself in and shutting down completely. Finding tiny things which allow us to keep a promise or two to ourselves, and gives us something back, is a great way to begin the healing process from depression. But like the lady said: don't allow someone else to tell you what the fix is! Find what works for you and do THAT... Thanks.

I get low on energy with block headed stubborn people. They ask for help or suggestions and don’t accept suggestions. Door slam moment. I know it I accept it. I move on to something else or someone else. When I get overwhelmed with a hobby I shoot from the hip and enjoy the less perfect. It’s always fun. Now! Planning can overwhelm me. This fits well with your theme of arranging our lives on "our terms." I've struggled with energy, too. I'd always envied my Dad for his high-energy level. In fact, in my 20s I almost tanked my health trying to keep up with him and others like him. I later learned that I needed to set my own action plan. So sometimes I would write out a plan, and other times I'd put down a general idea and then work it out as I went along. (The steps I took would vary with each project.) As I did this, I found myself using the same approach that you mention in this video. I was creating new momentum! 🙂I found the energy needed by defining needs, making things fit, and taking little pieces at a time - just like you said in the video. Thank you for this very affirming message. It's definitely "creating life on our own terms."

Unfortunately, some years ago i got a tetanus shot that I didn't want.....gave me Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.....the following year I got two more vaccines that i didn't need....i was misdiagnosed. Then the Plandemic came up snd when i got my second Moderna vaccine I got Myalgic Encephalomyolitis. Therefore, MECFS. A terrible lack of mitochondrial energy. There is no cure for MECFS according to the CDC here in ther USA. I have been following the protocol for MECFS from Dr. Sarah Myhill and have improved about 70 to 80 percent. For those of us that have MECFS energy is a hard thing yo come by. My question is: I wonder how many INFJs have MECFS??!! That would be sn interesting thing to research. Thank you for your help and your channel. God Bless you and your family 🙏🌷💗🎶🎉 Miss Monique

Thank you @Wenzes for such an awesome video. I love to write that's why I ended up working as a professional writer. So, I write for client's businesses or blogs, etc. Although I love the fact that I earned more money from it (which I should), I feel like writing became like a money-making machine, while I try to keep pushing the "switch button" all the time. I'm stuck with the fact that there is no way out because the whole financial situation seems to be in my hands. And if I choose not to push the button and force myself to write, everybody will suffer. We cannot pay the bills on time, etc. While writing this comment, I feel like a crab hiding its shell. I want to escape and get rid of ALL the responsibilities and just run away in a spiritual sense. Do you know what I mean? The other side of me understands that I HAVE to do this and I SHOULD continue doing it for the sake of everybody else. Yet, the other side of me doesn't understand and just go on without realizing that it's already taking a toll on my health. I am an INFJ with a history of eating disorders, depression, and all those things. I already did what I can and try not to fall short because I do want to become happy and do what I like to do without pushing myself too much. I am trying to survive as a writer as if it's for survival, which wasn't the case from the beginning. I always feel tired that I could barely get up on the bed with the energy I need to get through the day. I always feel like I have to be in a rush and speed things up all the time to live responsibly. I can't just leave my writing job and write about something else. Otherwise, I will end up losing my income source and everyone will suffer. I'm stuck in a rut. :(

It's easier for me to go jogging at night or early in the morning, like when there is no sun... Especially in summer because the heat takes my energy. It helps to stay under a fan before I jog or do any task coz breathing can be a bit shallow so the fan helps with that.

But I've been proving myself lately, when my high standards have been recognized... and I also have speed in the area of the job where I've become quite familiar... I do hope that I will launch my own business, which have been working on launching the last 3yrs... It does take a lot for me to get going to do some of the things required in a business... Like financial and legal and technical chores... I'm doing so much evolution in these years...

I've thought about hobbies or hobbies that I can get into. I like drawing and even at times I run into a little creative block. Exercise is another one, although I don't prefer the old fashioned type of exercise. I prefer to dance my butt off to get some good Cardio in and then lift weights for building muscle and toning. Sometimes I wanna do so many things (like learning languages etc.) and I am capable to act accordingly and actually I'm able to learn quickly. But when I don't plan those activities (anymore) I get into depression mode, where I do almost nothing. And those advices like "you have to make breaks" don't apply, bcs I almost don't do anything then. For days, sometimes weeks. And I don't think my standards are too high. It seems I switch between those extremes. Maybe it's just disappointment by my own performance, that I can't do 80-100% every day. So when there's a challenge I tend to give up too soon. Maybe that's the core issue. Idealism. What would you suggest?

Thank you very much for this video, I really needed it. I had set goals for myself, but lately I had stalled again and did not even see the reason to continue with them, but today you has reminded it to me. A question Wenzes ... I still don't have my vocation very clear, but after finishing Law (I am 23 years old) I am doing a family mediation course, but the profession of mediator in my country (Spain) is not enough to live. Usually whoever is a mediator is also a lawyer or a psychologist, for example. Do you think that no matter how difficult it is, if I try with all my effort to be exclusively a mediator, I could in the end live from it? It seems complicated, but with advertising, specializing more, I don't know... Aside from being a mediator, lately I've been researching being a neuropsychologist, but I'm not sure I'd like it either, but it's because I've been very negative lately and any profession or future I see worse than it is, so I know the problem It is not so much any profession, but it is my way of thinking because when I have more neutral or positive moments I do see the light at the end of the tunnel, but that does not usually happen that often. I've asked family and friends for advice, but I feel like neither of them really knows what to say or tells me that everything will just be fine. I don't know whether to focus all my efforts on mediation even if it is risky or to try to do psychology and see how it goes... 🤷🏻‍♀️. Have you ever gone through a very similar situation in your life or know someone who has? What do you think is what usually works in these types of situations? I hope you have a very nice day Wenzes and sorry for the long message. Thank you very much for everything you do, it helps a lot 💚
@Wenzes

I believe- specifically with the internet, you can always do mediation or whatever you like full time. You don‘t have to go all or nothing in the beginning. Start with the save route and build something up on the side...that‘s how I started and then at some point I quit my job. You got this 👍👍👍

Did you by chance do a video on dating and the INFJ? I thought I would date another empath after the last meltdown from being married to a narcissist. At this point, I do not know which was actually worse. Sigh….

I have difficulties watching videos which cuts off once every 5 seconds. I wish someone could tell me why this got such an acceptance on KZbin that it has? As for the content, I wish I could give you thumbs up, but I have to stay neutral because I cannot concentrate on the video without the feeling of not feeling comfortable with the format. Otherwise, great content as always, and I know this video is old. and it's your KZbin so you do as you please, of course! Just my feedback and wishes for less cuts in the video, thanks!

12:34 it’s like if you have “a new plateau” so to speak the excess..... water, debris ... “baggage” will drain away almost on. it’s. own. (Of....it’s own accord) science 101 “water seeks it’s level” , right ? That is a “progressive truth” for certain you know for me this point being made [or elucidated ]£.....(more accurately). transcends psychology into physics. The physics definition of inertia are specific in the “properties” ....(of such). I.e. “a body in motion”.....”a body at rest”....... any how it’s an excellent “dissertation” of sorts, sure why not refer to this as.such. and if implemented well now THAT would be the goal, hm? Dankeshun , fraulein Wenzes.🙏👍

Great video! My only criticism is the lack of animation of your thoughts. You drone on with no "spice", it gets repetitive and old. I look forward to your future videos
