Wera Diamond Bit Set (Bit check 30 Diamond) unboxing at Last Best Tool. Just arrived from a month-long journey from Great Britain. Thirty, count them, 30 diamond bits from slotted, to Torx, to Phillips. Every one of them is diamond coated.

I'm having a very similar experience with Wera bits over this past month. Mine (diamond tipped Phillips #2s) may be coming from Germany through Amazon. Interesting that it has taken 25+ days and they are yet to arrive! Great review, Ty. Happy New Year (2023)!

I'm a fan of Wera's diamond bits/'drivers. Don't have the entire set which looks terrific. My favorite is a short, overly slender PH2 that fits as (physically) deep in the fastener as it allows. Fantastic for working with boogered PH2 heads. To this day, the most expensive single bit I've bought. No regrets.

I absolutely love Wera hand tools, I have multiple sets and honestly haven't had an issue with a single single one that I've used so far. I've actually been looking for projects specifically to use some of the tools I haven't had a use for yet.

Milwaukee wear guard bits are very nice. I have not seen test of these wera, but ive seen many test, where milwaukee bits became a lider.

I doubt it, snap on would most likely use a bahco, even though they're swedish, they outsource as well

What the difference between the Rapidaptor extension and the one that comes with some of the kraftforms (stored in the handle)?

The main difference I've noticed is whether or not the bit locking mechanism can remain unlocked. Some you have to slide the collar up to insert a bit. Some lock open and the collar will drop when a bit is inserted. Also some have plastic sleeves and some have metal. All the impact ones have metal sleeves. And there is a difference in location of the locking bearings seating the bits at different depths.

@@lastbesttool Thanks for the reply. I was referencing the long Rapidaptor. Which looks to be the same one put in the KK 20. Do you believe the two to be different at all?

@@LabiaLicker Without comparing them right now, I suspect if they look alike, they are alike. I have mixed and matched them many times so I'm not even sure if what is back in the driver or bit set is what was in there in the beginning.

Do the diamond bits scratch the screw heads at all?

I haven't noticed anything yet. The diamond grip is at the microscopic level. But if the bit was drawn across the screw head, I don't see why it wouldn't scratch the metal, but not sure how visible it would be.
