I'm with you completely. She was Timothy's best friend and once girlfriend or lover, according to Grizzly Man documentary, they met at a themed type restaurant. She appeared lackadaisical and not sincerely interested in the rapport with Werner Herzog but then again he was making a film about her friend so there's gonna be a little weirdness. The part with Medical Examiner was funny and weird.. The audio of Timothy getting mauled to death that has been floating around YT for years I think it's real, I think it's authentic. We have to remember that Jewel was given Timothy's belongings, ie camera, watch, etc. Timothy Treadwell died October 6, 2003. Werner Herzog did the documentary August 12, 2005. Jewel already had the the audio tape (from the camera). In the Grizzly Man documentary, Werner is listening to the audio- you know that clip. It appears he's presenting Jewel with the tape and telling her never to listen to it, destroy it. It looks as if Werner had the tape in his possession. How could he?

Hello Warner an Jewel thank you both for this short documentary celebrating his life... an special thanks to you Warner for Grizzly Man.. I simply loved it..!. It was well brilliant I thought.. an although he is gone now I believe he tried to protect his beloved bears . an that had it not been for the love he felt for not just the bears but for other animals as well..it's hard telling how his life would have been.. an at the end of his life he knew Jewel an others loved him.. I know Amy loved him an she died proving that love .. no matter what other people think ..he died doing what he loved . an that is quite an accomplishment in my opinion.. if everyone died doing what they loved.. who knows.. maybe we would have a better world.. thank you again oh an I'm Linda.. by the way.. I just haven't changed things over yet.. many many thanks . Oh an Warner I hope you go on with other documentaries.. bye again lol

@@danielnegron6496Obviously everyone is trying to be as diplomatic about it as they can but yes the guy certainly had issues. Whilst I feel sorry for the horrific manner in which he and his girlfriend died, my biggest problem with him is just WHY would anyone in their sane mind bring their girlfriend to such a dangerous environment where she could be killed and eaten. He knew the risks and okay she knew them as well, but she felt a duty to be by his side and in the end, it was her bashing the bear over the head with a frying pan trying to save HIS life which he continued to take for granted, and as a result of her not running away she got eaten as well. It's seriously messed up. I would never put my girl in any kind of situation like that period. All my respect for the guy went out of the window when he got his girl killed.

Timothy had deep trouble accepting he was gay. His excessive drinking, estrangement from his Dad, and feeling he didn't fit in led him to a different staging area to resolve his inner conflict. I think that in these present times, full of CCTV, Cellphones, Instagram, and Facebook, there are almost always some type of footage or film whenever anything happens. Especially tragedy. With it being that type of world we live in, society has gotten to a point where we almost feel entitled to be shown these things. We sometimes forget that these things that are playing out on the screens in front of us are actually real life. Not a fictitious choreographed video. And with that, we also tend to forget that there's victim's families out there who should never have to worry about accidentally clicking on those types of things. If they choose to not view the footage, then that's where it should stay. It should not be up to the public. When things like this accidentally get "Leaked" w/o permission, it no longer just News or Media Clips; that's when it becomes a voyeuristic disrespectful act of indecency.

Can we all address the bear in the room? Clearly there is a bit of implied privilege that Werner puts off in this clip. If your so indecisive that you can’t conquer your fears of listening to your ex lover and gf get mauled to death then don’t. But please stop milking the public for clout and publicity. She has even started a reddit and I’m just like the only reason your relevant to most people is because you hold the holy grail of this scenario. I think it's more of a burden he has taken on to have exposed himself to the horrific Horror by hearing it. I definitely don't think it's selfish but out of care and human compassion that he doesn't want anyone else to have to endure it. Also a respect to the two victims. It's a horrible situation that they succumbed to. Fault and foul play aside, it's tragic and no one's "right" to hear or see any of what happened. The story is out and details for anyone to know what happened but beyond that none of us are entitle too. It's everyone's duty to give that respect to the family and those who died.

I doubt Treadwell was thinking like you as he was getting torn to pieces. In fact, if they had had a gun, he’d have begged his girlfriend to shoot the bear.

Even if he was allowed to carry a gun (unless you have a license to hunt on certain land guns aren't permitted in the park) he wouldn't have. He wouldn't carry bear spray or use an electric fence around his tent

NO! Release the audio NOW! I will decide for me whether I should hear it or not. And of course I want to hear it regardless if I regret it. Which I doubt I will. I don't care if it's "contractually off the table" -Jewel P. Take the audio out of the safety deposit box at the bank and release it. Stop dangling the audio over our heads only to rob us of what we really want to hear!

Jonathan Mersch She's not German... there's no reason for her to pronounce his name that way, no one else does lol. She pronounces his name Vernor because she's an odd duck who thinks that's his name.

E Jax I can't even imagine why he would have done this I listened to the video many times and it makes me sicker each time I am done I never want to hear it again it was horrifying to say the least. I would never go where bears live just like I won't go into the ocean because I do not trespass on eating machines homes. I wish I had been able to slap this man for being so dumb.

Donna Ferguson if you heard what was you tube then that's a fake audio so luckily what you heard was fabricated. the real one you can only read transcripts of from the investigators and state troopers and it doesn't match the audio found online. they've proved it to be fake in several ways.

@@alazureshadowstar3937 do you know where I can find the confirmation? I have seen ppl going back and forth with each other in every single KZbin video about this. The “evidence” that ppl give is only “Werner told her not to let anyone hear it”. And I wish I could find a more substantial argument. Bc jewel doesn’t have to listen to him whatsoever and i don’t believe she did. That audio is his voice. I have no doubt in my mind.
