West Walker River

I fished a bit of the west walker on the California side in the canyon section. This video is short and lazy cause I had a tough time filming and fishing with the high wind and I had a bit of a tough time wading. I only got 2 fish on camera and 2 other fish slipped out of my hand before I could record. It would have been good to have a go pro cause that first fish was jumping like crazy. I also lost a really good sized rainbow. This section of river is beautiful and I'd definitely come back to fish it again

Well done. I have yet to catch a brown there. Flows are looking real good.

Thanks man. Dude that day was such shitty wind lol. I caught a few more browns but they slipped outta my hand before I could even record. I need a go pro haha. And I lost a really good rainbow

@@joeyallenoutdoors9086 I feel you. Especially this year, it seems the Eastern Sierra has had some crazy high winds. Can't escape it haha. The GoPro or action cam is a game changer. Hands free. You catch almost all the footage. Meaning, sometimes your angle might be off and of course your battery might die lol. BUT, most importantly, you're still in the moment.
