Laurier it isn't so much the damage , the problem is what kind of truck it is . It is not like anyone can run to the scrap yard and go Ford Raptor pickin for parts . These Raptors are 6 inches wider than a F-150 . Raptors have their own frames , bodies ... EVERYTHING on that truck is different than that of a everyday F-150 . I purchased a 2004 years ago that was salvage . When i went to purchase parts i dam near shit my drawers . 95% of Raptor parts are double if not triple in price

anthony Rocha I agree to a certain extent as far as a kink because as i am sure you know one kink leads to another . On a 2017 F-150 I straightened a frame a year ago that the front horns were pulled in just over 8 inches both sides after meeting a poll . The front turned out laser straight . Released most of the rivets on the engine cross member and replaced the front horn cross member . The whole repair consisted of a solid 8 hour day that was with a creative fix replacing the rivets . It was cheaper / stronger and less time than replacing the entire frame . The problem i find with these trucks is the aluminum bodies . Military grade my ass lol . Both front body mounts ripped apart and the rears distorted . The next salvage F-150 i buy or repair i will definitely look closer at the aluminum body than the frame . Welding on the frame is a piece of cake but the aluminum is a pain . The aluminum these trucks and as you know must aluminum hoods (DODGE) have so much impurities it is tricky and time consuming to weld .

Ive seen guys at work replace frames before. I work at a Ford dealer so I've seen them do Super Duties, F150's and Expeditions. I would say your best bet is to just replace the entire frame judging by how hard that truck has been hit. There could be bends everywhere and it would be extremely difficult to get that thing straight again. It usually takes the guys at work around 1-2 weeks working 8 hrs per day to swap a frame depending on the vehicle. BTW a Raptor frame is no different than a regular F150 frame so you could also get a used one of any are available.

Funny the scrap yard says waiting 6 months then 2 months and then all of a sudden there is a frame . Does not look like a Raptor frame to me . That frame looks like a F-150 frame . To align up 2 frame sections and graft them together its quite easy, Using a square and a tape measure you find holes common yo both frames ,punched in both frames and use them as reference points for the splice,. using precise measuring you butt the top and botthon of the 2 frames together but on the side rails you overlap both frames and use the pre punched holes to align the 2 into perfect alignment, using bolts thru those holes to krrp the alignment. Then for me , i used a stick welder and some 6013 rod for the welds, and you can additionally plate the butt welded area after if you wish. building up the truck from there.
