We all have to start somewhere you did really good for your first time the only tips I would give you is when you have a fisheye in the base like that you can stop sand it and put a little more base over it other than that you did pretty good your fan on your gun was open a little wide and a little more pressure than I would personally like but as far as putting down a tack coat and letting your shine come from your second coat and not running the shit out of it you did good

Looks good sir. I painted many many dozens of vehicles in a shop like that over the years. Hell I've painted them outside under a car port. It's not a SEMA build..lol. One trick I learned painting in a shop like that with fluorescent lighting is I never turned them off right after painting...when you turn them off it allows all the dirt in the air to fall. I don't know the technical term but it's kind of like magnetism....the lights keep all that crap suspended in the air. Once the parts are dry then it's no big deal to turn them off. Also I always sprayed the floor down to keep dust at a bare minimum. Keep up the good work man!

Hey man been watching your videos for a while now. small tip from a seasoned painter, use a clean tack rag between your base coats and right before first coat of clear. you will get much less dirt that way. keep the videos coming !!!

Just some friendly advise when you are prepping the panels for paint to help reduce the number of fish eyes(the little specks) use a tack cloth or cheese cloth and wipe in one direction only with a solvent to clean and frequently change to the cleaner part of the cloth... When you change directions while wiping you are just spreading the dirt and oils around... Think of it as wiping crumbs off a table

Man I'm so jealous! I used to have an 02 ram 1500 that my dad bought new in 02, and unfortunately the transfer case shit the bed and later on it wrapped itself around a couple trees in a snow storm (too much ram not enough Dodge) since then I've dreamt of owning a 2500 cummins just like that truck!
