I can understand why Hungary have opposed or vetoed the release of these various funds saying their intended use was for the whole World not just Ukraine although I am certain Obran? would have still found a way to help Putin. So unless there is a way to decisively kick Hungary OUT of Nato which has merit, considering the fact they have opposed EVERY strategy proffered by Nato and have instead supported Moscow, in future ANY and ALL submissions to Nato from Hungary MUST be declined.

Anyone else think that the F16s are just going to be used as launch platforms for the longer range Storm Shadow and MALD systems. Right now Ukraine are struggling to have enough aircraft to get these in the fight in effective volume. Cant see these providing normal ground attack or SEAD / DEAD due to the Russian SAM capability.

Humans are easily fooled by software that "speaks." The LLM's are capable of producing very impressive prose, poetry, etc. These programs are essentially a sophisticated parrots. There is not an iota of real comprehension behind what they do. There is no "there" there. The problem is that they can be used by humans for nefarious purposes.

It's a system, not a single unit. There's a command module, a radar unit and about 4 firing units, each with tractor unit and missile pods. So one bit may have been hit. If it's all still functional, maybe one of the missile pods.

Russians are attacking Ukrainian weapons depots and army barracks while Zelenskyy is attacking residential buildings with anti-aircraft missiles with long expired shelf life. Zelenskyy already hit Poland, Romania (a jet and a chopper were downed 8 servicemen killed), Moldova, Belarus, numerous residential buildings and at least two children’s playgrounds inside Ukraine with these missiles. Western missiles which are sent there are also with either expired shelf life or very close to expiration date . It’s mindboggling how many buildings were hit and civilians killed (including two hapless polish farmers) with this ongoing criminal lunacy of Zelenskyy regime. The chance of downing Russian missile is negligible in comparison with a risk of an accident with numerous civilian casualties. To give weapons to this war criminal Zelenskyy is like giving matches and gasoline to a serial arsonist.
