You are totally undaunted by the scope and scale of these re-engine swaps and it’s sorta eerie your sense of calm and control. But, I have been watching you for quite a while so I’m not too surprised but I am always, always very impressed. Sir.

Don't know if Allison is liquid cooled. The Allison's on our macks on highway dept.rotted out the coolant lines to the radiator. Had to replace them with stainless steel lines. When the line let go the truck went into limp mode and shut down.

Hello Warren. Those old 220 Cummins are what we had at the time. There was none of that modern Electronic Bollocks that you like. We ran a lot of trucks with 220, 250, and 290 Engines. They did the job. We bought trucks second hand. Not like now were they buy new, and have a choice of Engine. Those old Cummins were far better than them Gardener shite.

Great content Warren, as always another great video. Do me a favor and watch your back doing some of the things you do with bending and lifting, I know it's hard when you work by yourself and can't find anyone that's willing to work or learn the trade. I started working on a farm at the age of 13 after school and weekends than became a volunteer fireman at the age of 16 and after getting my class A license when I turned 20 I started driving a tractor trailer for United van lines hauling furniture across the east coast, I went on to become a career firefighter in Maryland for over 28 years until my back couldn't take it anymore and after 3 back surgeries and not doing any better that I was 15 years ago the doctors said that I abused my back with all the lifting over the years. Now I just mess with my historic cars until the pain gets to me and I have to call it quits and have to lay across the bed for hours. Thank you for your videos I enjoy watching them

Just curious on your plans to use a transmission pto, can you actually drive it with the transmission pto engaged? I always thought that was why they ran a direct drive pump set up so you had hydraulics while it was in motion. Look forward to seeing it get running again. Love your videos!

Many Allison’s you can. We ran our hydraulics off of the Allison on out dump trucks for the state. This included the snow plows.

I ran an Allison on a highway dump truck.Hsd to keep the transmission in second gear to spin the sander. If it shifted up to higher gear the rpms dropped to turn the hydraulics and sander would slow down.
