I think that those scenes of Dolores and Bernard in human clothes in the city was Arnold taking Dolores into the real world to prepare her for when she finally escaped

People always have the urge to want everything explained to them in a show. I noticed that with people I introduced to GOT as well.. I like not knowing where its going or getting answer early on in the season. Makes the later episodes more rewarding and satisfying

"Journey to the valley in the great beyond" may have been referenced in a couple of other places in the episode. The milk chugging guy (Rebus?) says "you'll need better aim for your journey" while shooting the glass off of the guest's head. The farm hand kid asks the guests if they are traveling to the valley in the great beyond before they murk him out. 1. The sea that apparently came out of nowhere would have been a valley before the water showed up. 2. Delores may have used the host mesh network to spread the uprising and the idea of the valley in the great beyond 3. Bernard may have hacked this message to rally all the rogue hosts in this valley and then drown them (side note: the only way to bring the water in would have been a damn or a channel for a body of water at an adjacent park)

This journey with Delores and Teddy could be one of many loops. Remember when Teddy said he and Wyatt were "in the war together"? What if that war was him and Delores at war against Delos (humans)? This could all be in the past from Season 1. Mind blown

I bet that Beach Bernard had Teddy mind. The way he looks at his body and says well everything he says is very Teddy like. I don't think it is regular Bernard. Their body is just a shell. 😉 Like I think the episode was about being infiltrated. Both sides. Who is a human or Host. We don't know. I think Delores showing Teddy the real truth. What better way than put his mind in a high level disguise to see what really happening. One she knows he will be safe in at that.

Has nerd soup checked out discoverWestworld.com? Before, in season 1, they have a quiz that asks you a specific question: if you had all the same memories and were planted in a different body, are you the same person? I think tat delos is trying to create host bodies for real people with the intention of selling immortality. That's why they need the DNA, they need to be able to create a clone body but with a host brain. They also have a huge list of clients already, since these people are already rich enough to afford Westworld

Delos' and William's secret weapon is controlling the whole world by killing and cloning the richest people in the world and consequently controlling everyone. I think that underground place/weapon will be full of guest clones.

What if "Future World" is actually 'Modern World" and because this takes place in the "future" it looks futuristic to us, the audience, but to main characters it just appears to be a park version of their everyday world. Instead of being able to fulfill you desires in a "themed world" you get to carry it out in basically the "real world". That type of park could have a big draw to customers.

(and make it feel authenthic) When it's real-time....it's like a GTA. You have a real-ish normal life, but can be the king and kill and fuck everyone you want without any consequences.

re-watched the episode again last night. 1) On board with Delos knowing that Bernard is a host. In the begging scene when he wakes up they are walking and Skarsgards character says "it seems like our host can do all types of things" he stares directly at Bernard almost as to say "look at what this one has done." 2) I think Bernard was uploaded with all the data from the park (not sure if Delos knows or not). this could explain why his memory is all out of sorts. they said in the finale last year when they moved the data onto Abernathy that the host brains could hold all the data especially when they're empty. So the data on top of all of Bernard's programing could be overloading his brains RAM causing all this trouble with his memory. 3) Ford is using the MIB/William to help the host escape. This one is kind of simple for West World but I think young ford giving the MIB the task to find the door is going to lead him down a path that intersects with Delores yet again and they will work together to escape the park (Delores will kill him after they escape, or at least try to). Maybe only a human can open the door or only the MIB specifically can open the door given his standing in Delos and the greater world almost like a reverse of the maze. 4)I don't think Bernard "killed" all the host. I think he takes blame for it because when they were explain the host net and how it works it seemed like Bernard was saying it attracts host to one another. Maybe this caused all the host to group together thus making them easier to kill and he blames him self for not thinking ahead. 5) this one is a timeline issue. How long did it take Mave to get from the trains back to the control room? If Bernard was the one that killed everyone in the control room and Mave and Sizemore are on the same timeline as Bernard and Charlotte I don't get how Bernard would beat them to the control room and kill everyone before Mave and Sizemore got there unless of course they aren't on the same timeline but I don't understand how they couldn't be.

I think that the scene with "Arnold" and Delores speaking, mirroring the scenes from season one, is a bluff. This season is centred on Bernard. We are in Bernards dream. I think she spoke to him when he was critically malfunctioning and pretended it was the past to help him work through his "issues" or get information from him. Its a trick, a double bluff. We assume that its the past when actually its the present (after Ford's death). Its not a friendly chat, its an interrogation by Delores and a trap for Bernard. He will tell her about the mesh network!

I think this is the new narrative that Ford created. What if the board and real people are in fact hosts created from the collected DNA. Even all the employees are hosts. Hale and William and Ford and the extraction team are the only ones who are real. Ford knows about Delos's plans. And William is the owner of Delos. William was upset from his first time in Westworld because it showed who he really is inside. So William spends his life messing with Ford and Westworld. So Ford gives William the game he wants which will ultimately destroy William and Delos. And Ford makes Mauve the host that Arnold always wanted. Delores is the red herring for Delos and William. Mauve will be the host that finds true consciousness and makes it to the real world. Just a thought. I'm sure I missed something.

What I think a lot of people missed about the scene with the lynching is that Dolores is talking about a conflict between Dolores Abernathy, Wyatt, and what she actually wants to do. It's got to be hard making your own decisions with two other people in your head telling you what to do.

I think that the "real world" that we see Dolores and William in is actually a "future world." So Dolores thinks that getting there will free her but it's just another park. As for future world being a bad idea for a park, I was thinking that the parks are fantasies for humans so maybe the "future world" has a different theme like detective world or something like that.

I'd say free will in humanity is essentially the choice between what you are innately driven to do and what society expects of you, or some middle ground between the two. Based on that, I think Dolores absolutely has free will at this point.

My guesses: The door shows that DNA identification is possible-- maybe it's how everything runs in the "real world". No need for driver's licenses, credit cards, etc. -- everything could use facial recognition and DNA ID. So if Delos could collect powerful people's DNA and then make a host of them with their DNA, they could have complete control over (host versions of) prominent people out in the world.

Look at What Bernard wears and his gunshot scar. It’s almost as if the Bernard that washes up on shore doesn’t have the gunshot scar he had when he was with Charlotte. I mean he doesn’t have the hand shaking anymore at that point. There is sand on the area of his temple where his scar should be... possibly to cover up that this isn’t the same Bernard who malfunctioned and lost brain fluid?

Maybe that valley is an exit out of the West World park. Delores escapes but not all the hosts escape. When the valley is flooded they all drown. The tiger must have come through the exit by mistake, got caught in the flood, and died on the shore. Crazy theory?

Hararger probably smart bullets that adjust velocity based on target. In the original 1970s movie they specifically said there was an infrared sensor that wouldn't let it fire anything 'warm'. But that's actually very bad system, LOL

I think the “real” discussion comes down to what you are trying to define as real. Her physical body? yes. Her memories? debatable. All the hosts where engineered and programmed with memories.Most are made up from the writers so they have fake memories to mold their characters to give them their personality. Wow. I just noticed the irony in the company name (Delos). I know this matches the company name from the 1980s movie, but spell Delos backwards and you get SOLED. Soled is the past tence of the verb for putting a new sole on a shoe. Much like the personailities and storylines are retread for the hosts within the park....
