Wet Wrap on Natural Hair

I tried this last night and I love it! My hair is stretched. The hang, even though it's shorter than yours, is there. There is none of the usual poofiness and frizz I get the day after wash day. I was amazed. I have to see how it holds up in the rain, but this is my new 'do' for summer. Thank you so much.

I've been looking for a way to stretch my natural hair and this one seems like the easiest way. I was using the banding method but it pulls on my scalp too much. I have to try this!! 😍

Good idea! Thx for the tip. I'm going to try this wrap technique, but I think I'll do it on dry hair first. I'm thinking my hair will get too straight if I do it on wet or damp hair--even without gel.

Hi RachelCPR. I loved your video! My daughters hair is just like yours. Do I need to wash her hair every night and wet wrap it to keep the curls like that, or is there a way to go a few days without washing and still keep the form of the hair without it getting tangled and knotted? How would I wrap her hair at night if it's not wet? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm having a hard time finding a stylist (in Jacksonville,FL) that will cut my hair dry without using a comb or a brush...what should I do? I think my hair is the length of your hair but I'm about 1/4 natural and 3/4 relaxed. By the way your hair is beautiful!

i tried this method once, and my hair was bloody straight the next morning! i was so mad lol :) cos i am not good at wrapping and it took me like over 30 minutes to wrap it! the whole back of my hair looked like i had straightened it and the rest was barely wavy hahaha :) you got such nice results, stretched hair and yet still curly!!

Do you have a video where you explained how you achieved maximum hydration? Your hair does not look frizzy at all. I have been watching all your videos. I have tried your wet wrap but I don't get it right. Do you wet wrap in the night after a wash and go? I really need your help. My hair shrinks more than 200% shorter. How often do you deep condition your har and do you use regular conditioner for that.
