The LEO that is infringing on another's rights should be held accountable. When you sue the city, to the police force, etc... it comes form our tax dollars, and doesn't teach the LEO anything unless they are demoted, arrested, or fired over it. as soon as it is proven that it was the LEO decision to infringe on another's rights, they should lose their qualified immunity and be personally sued. Only if it is due to a policy that they were given by the Police force or city that they work for should that be sued.

What would make my day is that an FBI undercover cop walked into one of these courthouses or police stations like this guy did and was told that the county's law supersedes the Constitution. Once that undercover cop had all the names, he went to the sheriff's office, arrested them for violating constitutional rights, and walked them out in cuffs. There are no if and or buts. I'm a handicapped senior citizen. And I'm wearing a hoodie right now because I get cold very easily. I used to tease my Grandpa cause even in summer he would be cold - in a flannel shirt with long underwear shirt under it. Now I understand - I have low blood pressure. I have to have long pants and a jacket on in the grocery frozen foods section I get so cold. Can you believe I got pulled over and questioned by some of these idiots for wearing a long sleeved "sweater" in summer? They claimed I MUST be on drugs because it was "too hot to be wearing a long sleeve sweater". Young enough to be my grandkids and telling me what I "should" wear. The police are now giving out fashion advice to the elderly! Unbelievable. Ultimately, since they could find NOTHING, I was charged with "drug paraphernalia". Since when are Q-tips "drug paraphernalia"? Yes, it was thrown out. After 9 months of going to court, once a month, where they would mistakenly charge me with "not showing up for court", had my license pulled, reinstated, pulled again, reinstated again. The letters telling me I was suspended and couldn't drive always showed up a week after the suspension. As if it were being purposely done to cause as much damage as possible. Just where do they think a handicapped senior on a fixed income is supposed to get all this money? They don't care. They don't care if you can't get groceries, can't get to the doctor, can't get the necessities of life done. It's more important that they NEVER be wrong, and they generate money for the town. All on the backs of those least able to afford it. The ONLY reason this was finally handled properly was the pandemic hit. And they HAD to stop playing their games. All told it probably cost me about $300 - the gas to drive to the court and back every month, the reinstatement fees to get my license back due to THEIR mistake. The final time they dropped the charges and restored my license "as if it never happened". This was only because I complained that with everything shut down due to the pandemic how was I supposed to get to motor vehicle, etc. 23:14 I shudder to think what could have happened. They wanted me to take a "plea deal" and go on supervised probation (which I would have to also pay for) for a non-existent drug habit because I had Q-tips in my purse! I've never seen such a blatant money grab in my life! The public defenders are in league with the prosecutor - the veiled threats of "what could happen if you lose" - the system is so badly broken I don't believe it's fixable.
