I have no idea why they don't just have better training, it is so sad that to become a hairdresser you go to school ALOT longer and you have no authority over anyone and you cant just kill someone

Like usual the cops are more interested in harassing an innocent man and then standing around in a circle jerk to explain how the person they illegally detained was being uncooperative and asking questions. None of the cops have any sense of urgency to get back out and search for the real suspect.

I used to work over nights, got home around 4 am. Was pulled over a block from my house, turns out there was a hit and run that killed a teenager. Cops were looking for a small 2 door silver truck. They pulled out my small silver sedan because my 14 year old car had dents. Had me in the back of the cruiser before someone had the bright idea "this isint a truck"

I have personally experienced encounters where I "fit the description" or "we got a call". In one case where I "fit the description", I was wearing a tank top, gym shorts, undershorts, and sneakers while riding a bicycle along a 4-lane road. I allegedly stole a TV after purportedly breaking into someone's house. The officer let me go after seeing my military ID. That was over 30 years ago, but despite the cameras, things seem to have actually getting worse.

He wouldn't get anything out of a lawsuit for this unfortunately. Despite it being completely without merit and based on a ridiculously insufficient description, he was detained very briefly, never IDd, never handcuffed, the only force used was one cop grabbing his arm, and he was immediately free to leave once they were made aware he was not the suspect they were looking for. All of the graham factors are in favor of the cops in this scenario.

Even if you ask the cops what description they got they will just look at you and spout of very generic description that vaguely fits you. They are allowed to lie to you so asking them what their description is doesn't do a damn thing. Edit... And to prove my point the officer says that he got a description of a man wearing a black and red jacket... Even though the description was a black jacket but because the guy he's looking at is wearing a black and red jacket he says black and red jacket.

In the dystopian novel, Fahrenheit 451, there is an incident in which the police were pursuing the protagonist through the streets in the early morning. The whole nation was following the pursuit through networked street cameras on their TVs while the TV government news pumped up the supposed villainy of the subject. The protagonist pulled an amazing escape. Then the government police, knowing that they were still being covered by live TV, could not be seen to fail. The police dispatchers had access to extensive records of all citizens’ appearance and habits, and they quickly found a match of a guy who was close enough in appearance and was known to take early morning walks, not really close but close enough. The police closed in on the poor innocent guy and brutally arrested him, just for the cameras.

From my perspective, The contract security officer gave the terrible description. The law enforcement officer accepted their description, and acted on that information. More training is needed.

Complaints, taking to supervisors, lawsuits, training, etc. will never ever change anything. Removing QI and requiring pension fund bond funding of “malpractice insurance” is the only thing that’ll force change.

A barber has 3 times the hours in training to become licensed than most police in the same state. Truly crazy the lack of training they get!

We always hear "we got a call/you fit the description" People 'fit the description ' before they get it The officer will be cleared either through the department, union. Or the prosuctor won't prosecute. They're excuse is "we were on our way to a call. They should have moved"

I mean the officers acted negligent in not getting a proper description. I wonder if they have policy that mandates what is a proper description.

its a damn shame it takes more schooling to become a barber/hairdresser then it does to become a law enforcement officer and have the ability to control wether or not someone lives or dies! like,that is just fucking insane to me. we care about the person cutting our hair to have more schooling then we care about the person locking up our criminals,walking our streets,or supposed to be protecting our schools, but well we seen how well they "protect" the schools these days.

I live Australia and use public transportation to get to and from work.We have id laws in Australia so we have to show your id when asked no problem there .I have been taken off the train multiple times for not answering questions which is my right . Lucky for me i get to work 45 minutes to an hour before i start work i will not give up my rights for tyrants.

@bubbablue1100
@bubbablue1100 Жыл бұрын
@@kharnthebetrayer1575 no, we don't legally have to have Id. But on the hand, if you want to perform in society, yes. But that has nothing to do with the statement or subject. Statement: I'm not giving up my rights for tyrants. Response " did your people give up rights during covid lockdowns, or get shit beat out of them by cops for leaving home to go shopping.??? In the states, what you didn't hear on news, government told us to give up rights. Some did. Others went to tow armed. Several cops were shot and killed by citizens until cops said we can't beat the hell out of armed men. American 2nd amendment does wonders against a tyrannical government, yall should try it.

All people want is when cops say “calm down”, they stop approaching and talk to them before touching them. Since this is such an obvious issue the assumption has to be they love it, and the “good ones” tolerate it.

The most disturbing thing about this is that while these cops were busy trying to impress each other, where's the guy freely walking around with a gun? There could be another security guard in the crosshatches somewhere, or maybe even these cops themselves. But they're so preoccupied with counting the eggs in the basket they've got in front of them that they probably wouldn't even notice until one or more of them hit the ground dead. Hope they like omelettes.
