Oh hahaha I was laughing so much with the bluebottle I can totally relate. Was diving a few weeks ago and look up and see my mask totally covered in a blue bottle and I was thinking "This is going to hurt". Sunday morning, storms hitting, kids are still asleep and new episode of wet mammal, life is good!

Banger of a video as per usual Sam! Thanks to you and Daniel Mann i've finally decided to pull the trigger and get into spear fishing (much to my wallets dismay) but with the epic spots you shown around sydney i have no worries about not seeing any fish, just gotta learn how to shoot them.

Thanks Max, honestly itll be the best thing you ever decide to do, spearfishing is full of ups and downs, teaches you hard work pays off and how average old fish from the markets really is! Need any pointers just drop a comment 🤙🏼

Plenty of ups and downs in all of your recent adventures mate 😂 Great Kingy! Glad you landed that one in the end. I'm surprised you opted for the body shot even after having your confidence questioned, I think you'd have nailed a stone shot straight over top like that 🔫 Loved the footage from Mon on the ski as you were pulling the Kingy in too! My first time being stung by a bluebottle, I only knew of blue ringed octopus at the time, I was about 12 and surfing after a storm. Looked at my arm in the water and its tentacle had stung me in a perfect blue circle, the pain was intense and I genuinely thought I was going to die thinking "blue ring" 😂 went to hospital and learned otherwise, thankfully! First and only time I've ever been done but man am I glad I've never fed one into my mouth, that's unlucky and tbh very lucky you didn't have a worse reaction. Great adventure as always 👏🏼

A rollercoaster for sure! Thanks bro, i know in hindsight i was thinking that too i just played it safe. I reckon thats the best footage of the whole thing, Mon killed it! Haha oh shit, id be bricking it if i thought it was a blue ringed octopus too, glad it wasnt. Do you see them often up around Northern WA? Thanks man! 🤙🏼

Fucking phenomenal content, cannot stress it enough. The teasers for this video were insane, but the full journey, holy hell, that was madness. The struggle was unreal, no gloves, no knife, (headbutting the ski 😂), and when you got that bluey in your gob, no joke my mouth was agape. Honestly, what a fight with that kingie, you deserve it all mate, keep pumping out these bangers, fucking luv ya!!

When we would take Sea-Doos out spearing, we would put some rails in around the rub rail, and then we would keep gloves, spare rubbers, knives, net bags, water bottles, ropes, floats and a dry bag filed with all sorts of things. Just a couple simple stainless dowels. Then everything was looped around it. We always had stuff spare, which was nice.
@WetMammal9 ай бұрын

the blue bottle sound a bit annoying. warm water can sooth the sting and is what led to the myth about peeing on the sting.

Dude that armrite so quite so smooth im building my own rollers now tired of paying 1000 dollars for a good roller can build one for half You definitely aim just point and shoot aim I do the same started by looking down my gun like a rifle but soon it became instinctual hard to aim all the time often loose fish aiming up the motion of drawing the gun up spooks fish easy better to get good at quick point and look shooting method works way better nice video and hunting ! 🤙

Mouth full of Man o war 🥵 and still managed to land that whopper👍, no surprise there, some people like yourself, just double back when required, like that time you were swimming between islands with the Ocean full of sharks trying to steal your food…some people say it’s crazy, I say you see world a bit differently than most people. Definitely my favourite channel🤘 Ps. Once while surfacing landed in a middle of Lion’s mane tail, yeah the hairy one, looked like after lip filling procedure.
