Brittany, your pizza video photography at the end was beautiful… I was drooling! I didn’t think you could make a pizza at home that looked that good, and as a lazy cook, I wouldn’t attempt it unless I had a lot of confidence, which I now do, thanks to this video! The barbecue jackfruit pizza sounds delicious. Would love the recipe for it. My husband and I truly enjoy the Jaroudi membership as it offers new recipes, a music playlist, an art project, a live cooking class (with a recording if you can't catch it live) and a video that Brittany does where she could discuss anything from her grocery haul, to new empty house tour or her personal health issues as well as the availability to 20+ past membership recipes. I had the hardest time with the stickiness of this dough. I feel like I used half of the flour bag just to get the darn ball off my hands. I didn’t get to see how you rolled it out so I ad libbed. I wasn’t about to use a rolling pin since it was so sticky, but I used my fist to create that lip of crust and then with generous flour, I patted it out to a decent size. It was a lot of work! I guess with practice and time, I will be able to do it with a better attitude- or with a glass of wine. Haha.

"Einkorn wheat is an ancient wheat grain that's healthier than modern wheat. That's partly due to its much lower gluten content. It's not gluten-free, but it is lower in gluten and possibly easier on the digestive system than traditional wheat flour.' it's also grown organic, and is not genetically altered. Thank you for the video. I'll be trying this, this week. I can't find the Einkorn Flour, so I'll use Whole Wheat instead; both have the same genetic qualities.

It's hard to wrap my mind around an oil-free pizza, but I think that tomato sauce with maybe something like tempeh crumbles, olives and red onions would be good!

Hi Brittany. Ok scratch my last comment and question. I looked into the company and found out which one it is. My question now is knowing you are wholefood plant based as I am for the last ten years. Being the Eikorn you are using is the all purpose flour and it being partially refined what do you know about it or what is it that makes you comfortable using it knowing it is partly refined? Just want to know so I can too feel ok about using it. Knowing it is a flour that is easier diggested. Looking for a better flour for me and my son to use on our pizza Sundays we do every week. Keep up the great work. Enjoy all your video's.

Since making this video we purchased a grain mill. I now make all our flours from scratch using the whole grain. We do this to make Einkorn flour now.

Is there a flour in the meantime you suggest using for pizza that worked well and tasted good. Being you stated in your video you have used all kinds. We do have homemade pizza every Sunday. We call it and look forward to PIZZA SUNDAY! Being we do have it every Sunday, once a week. I am not sure that falls into moderation? Would trust your advice. And to add I really would like to become a member to your great channel and looking forward to eventually doing so. It is just I am disabled and live on a very and I mean very tight budget. But do think what you are doing here is wonderful and a help to so many. Sorry last time I will bother you on this matter.

I never heard of einkorn flour. I can't get it at any store around me so I looked it up on Amazon. They have Organic Einkorn all-purpose flour like what you are using and they also have Organic Einkorn Whole Wheat Flour. Have you used both kinds for your dough? Does the all-purpose flour mix better than the whole wheat flour?

I would not, this dough is very sticky to start. A bowl and mixing by hand is the way to go.

So I'm guessing you can just use sugar instead of date paste? While I understand peoples aversion to plain ole' sugar, I like to keep the plant based eating very simple and while I looooooove dates, I don't want to have to make paste all the time. And this is also not factoring in the cost for dates these days.
