Jonny has gotten a lot better at interviews. They all have. It's nice to see them finally more comfortable in their skin. I think the nature of interviews has become more chill and relaxed in general, compared to how it was in the 90's and early 2000's.

"the trouble is... we like touring when we have new songs to play and we only have new songs to play once we've recorded them... and that only happens when the five of us find the time and the energy to get together and rehearse" it sounds so simple yet it must be hard for all of those things to actually come into fruition. it's okay though, just knowing you're still going is enough :')

Jonny's understated humility shows authenticity that sets him apart from most musicians, apart from the other Four chaps who make up Radiohead. There's never been a band who avoid courting the limelight yet are one of the most misunderstood groups of all time. They don't do many interviews and as so, the media are unable to write sensational stories about their antics to sell newspapers etc. The Beatles never had the luxury of the privacy Radiohead are accorded because they changed the world. Evolving with Beatlemania the Fab Four were learning to adapt as they went along, they became a cultural, global, phenomenon. Pink Floyd, The only other comparable Music combo were revered in a similar but lesser extent than the Fab Four until Roger Waters opened his mouth, though equally contributing something of similar innovation to the Evolution of Music. These guys avoid publicity which allows them to be judged by their music. It makes them unique and enhances their work to be savoured. You don't see them falling out of Nightclubs at four in the morning or have their private lives the subject of scrutiny by the Tabloids. Absolutely a Class Act who have been gifting the World with a body of work for people who don't buy into 99% of the Chart Music, instead shunning Fame.
