I read that after GM’s estate was settled it came to light that he had been quietly giving millions of $$ in donations to multiple charities throughout his career without any public recognition for it, and financially supported the family of Anselmo, who died in ‘93, until George himself passed away. He was a lovely soul.

Andrew & George in the Wham! documentary said that this was as organic of a video as it could have gotten. They went to Switzerland with their best friends, to shoot the video. And no, that was not fruit juice. They were pouring wine like it was going out of style. They said they had the most amazing time. It's unbelievable that George could write a christmas song in two hours from beginning to end and it endure you were for forty years.

Last Christmas has hit the Christmas number 1 slot here in the UK this year, a wonderful Christmas gift for George and all of his lovelies 💜 Apart from Wham! and the leading lady in the video, everyone else was friends of Wham! It's really a shame that the u s was left with the controversy in the park. Unfortunately, people are doing themselves a huge deservice, by not really knowing his catalogue of music. The man was a genius songwriter. As Elton John said, he sat up right there with McCartney and Lennon. He's one of the most famous musicians to come out of Britain selling over a 125 m records worldwide, and that's after Wham! He's the first white male artist to win R&B album of the year. He's had duets with Aretha, which they won a grammy for. Ray Charles, Mary Jay, Whitney, Tony Bennett, Queen, Elton, of course, and the list goes on and on.. He was not only a songwriter, but had the most impeccable pitch-perfect voice. Just a phenomenal musician. Not to mention that he gave millions and millions of pounds to charity. He did this anonymously. Unlike the people today in the music industry that are shouting it from the rooftops just to get the attention. He was not a flawless person and made mistakes in his personal life. But he always was transparent with his fans about it. That's what really made him so human.

HI guys - hope you had a great Christmas. Did you not notice in the video that the "ex" was wearing and caressing the brooch that was in the flashback of George Michael giving her the year before? She was giving George the eye at the table even though she was with a new guy (Andrew). Also I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet but there are people who play a game called Whamageddon where they try to avoid hearing this song in December. There was a big outrage amongst players when a couple of weeks ago a DJ at a football/soccer game in the UK thought it would be funny to play this song and so a bunch of players were knocked out of the game as a result.
