It’s really nice. It doesn’t have that spaceship feeling that a lot of NYC remodels have. Tons of natural light. The beams are beautiful, and the soundproofing is a HUGE perk. The listing agent owes you dinner, because this video did a much better job showing off the space than the Realtor/Redfin/Zillow listing did.

This is EASILY the best apartment I’ve seen in any of the tours by any KZbinr period. Yet you will still have people saying "but but I’d rather have 10 bedrooms and a view of mountains" smfh. This Apartment is literal perfection

Agree this is better than most of them. So many of these ultra-expensive units look cold, sterile and uninviting, and this one acually seems kind of warm and liveable. Way more than I need or could ever afford though, LOL.

I can't even imagine. The space is incredible. I've never even been in a "luxury" home, I've been in some really nice, well appointed, larger homes but nothing, nothing like this! It's fun to tour around them. I really liked how they kept special elements of original structure and weaved in the high end finishes, somehow making it all seem "homey". Very impressive. I haven't been around for awhile and heard you say you were back in school. What for, if you don't mind me asking? Good for you, taking care of your mental health and promoting it! We all need to, mental health is imperative. Always wishing you the very best in everything you do!

when you talk about handles with grooves in them the word you're looking for is knurled. it's pretty cheap and common way to make metal not slippery, mostly used on tools

Eric, I could not agree more! IMO, it's you taking care of yourself. One does always have the answer and feels embarrassed or weak talking to a friend. Therapists are (should be) unbiased and help one with guidance. I will also say, one has to be willing and brutally honest for them to help. Thanks for bringing up this issue again!!! Beautiful unit! The walls do look like Venetian plaster correct, very difficult to do well and it looks to be applied perfectly in this loft. Incredible finishes all around you can tell every square inch has had so much attention to detail. New owners are going to really enjoy this one.

Lovely loft, balanced between too rugged and too cleaned up. Love the details like floors, double drawers, the lamp above the table, the wire-laced glass in doors and cupboards. Also plenty of windows everywhere, not a closed off space carver somewhere deep in the bowels of the building. Loved the owner's bathroom with the lava slab.

I like the seating area across the steel lockers, there's a nice blend of industrial feels and rustic feels that just fit into the history of the the building. The handles on that frosted steel door and the kitchen is stunning! I didn't think I'd like it, I felt it would be a bit much but it just blends better than I could expect. I actually really like brass fixtures, I get it takes a lot more cleaning but there is something nice about it how it just pops that flows so well. The Buster and Punch handles and all that I like it. 😌 This is obviously far far far beyond my budget and is no way achievable or attainable for me but dang I totally get why this is your dream loft, it's very nice.

I love some of the showplace trophy apartments in the sky simply for the views. But so many are showplaces that are hard to imagine as apartments built for living in. This Tribeca unit feels like a home for actually using as a residence. Very beautiful!

Erik I have been a subscriber for only a few weeks now. I do appreciate your channel. This has to be my favorite episode so far of you channel. All the exposed wood and brick with the industrial finishes of steel and glass. The finish on the wall you asked about looks like slate. Also loved the wet bar that was stocked with nothing but whiskey 😂. Plus pretty much if every room has a chandelier in it that place is high end and massive.

I'm not usually that into lofts, but this one is beautiful. Cavernous, too! I like how much effort went into designing this so that it retains the feeling of a loft, but doesn't look overly industrial. Retaining too much of the original warehouse look can come off as lazy to me, but everything here is so thoughtful.

Those walls are polished plaster, where the paint is mixed with the plaster. Very very labor intensive, consequently very very expensive! This is a gorgeous loft. Not cold and cavernous as so many are!

@2:11 the pattern you're referring to is a machining process known as knurling. The primary purpose of knurling is to improve the grip of a metal part however it also adds a pleasing visual aesthetic.
