Well, GOD Bless! First baby ? I’m 73 and remember helping delivering both of my two boys like it was yesterday. Cut the cord, carried up to the incubator, etc. hope all goes well and that you have a beautiful family. Whitney was 29 years old in a studio with full backup and lots of run throughs. Angelina just 16&1/2 years old with just a backing track and slaying this classic! WH was a true artist and AJ is probably the best artist today who could take on this vocal challenge. I may have heard this by whitney a dozen times. Amazing, yes. Ive heard Angelina’s version dozens oftimes. Mostly w reactioneers. But she makes it warmer and from another era. At the concerts, she dedicated to her grandmother who has been ill, and it was quite emotional. This performance is beyond belief, the cinemaphotography, the ART, and this time we get to savor over 4 minutes of total bliss, no one is capable of doing this song justice like Angelina Jordan. David Foster and Linda Thompson, who co-wrote this ballad for Whitney Houston would be blown away by this performance. She changed the key to this song, but does it really matter as long as she has the ability to give each word, or phrase, meaning like no one else in this universe can. How can she evoke such emotion in each and every performance? Why do I get chills, or cry tears, or lose my breath when Angelina sing a song that I have experienced many times in the past without this happening? If this feeling only happened to me that would be ok, but it happens to billions of people. We play these videos of AJ over, and over again to get our high. I was a Whitney fan from the beginning of her career to her tragic end. Whitney was great, but Angelina at 16 is far better than Whitney ever was at making you feel each word, and phrase. AJ changes every cover to make it hers and far, far better than the original. AJ is the greatest STORYTELLING ARTEST I have ever experienced in my 75 years.

This song is not they type of song which fits Angelina best but she certainly did it justice. Angelina, at her last concert in Norway this past July, dedicated this song to her grandmother, Mery, who has been battling health issues and was unable to make the trip to Norway. When Angelina sings, "Don't you DARE walk away from me" it is highly emotional for her and for her angels.

That's not unusual though. I don't like Baby Fuzz's version of "I'm Still Holding Out For You" (otherwise known as "Leaked" 😂) but love Angelina's. Labrinth's "Mount Everest" isn't worth listening to at all but, Angelina's "Mount Everest" is astounding and I love it.

Angelina takes us masterfully through all of the doors in this song and then sends us home with long velvet ribbon of that last note. Taking in to account that Whitney and Angelina sing two different styles and vocal ranges, and are 12 years apart in age when they recorded their songs, I still think Whitney's studio version (however many takes were involved) is the best version of it, BUT I feel that Angelina's live version is better than any other live version I've heard, including Whitney's. The emotion that I feel/hear in all of Angelina's songs are the deciding factor for me.

Here, at 16-1/2, Angelina shows her fans she's no slouch and can perform with the greats. This is a fine live studio performance and the Republic Records' professional touch was present. If her meteoric improvement from age 6 to the present is any indicator, by the time she is 20 there will be no female vocal equal. BTW she sang this in her concerts in June and July in Norway. Although most reactors will choose a studio performance to view, Angelina is at her best in live performance on-stage, IMO. She will be 17 on January 10, 2023, and graduate from High School mid-year.

Most viewers feel it's almost sacrilege if it doesn't sound like the original😂 To each his own, and while she did belt out notes when the song required, she does something that is VERY Angelina... She adds EMOTION in place of singing with power the entire song..IMO, her vocal prowess far exceeds, MANY times, the original artists' rendition. Just so you know, I really enjoy your reactions. So much so that I come back to them time and again, sharing in the joy that exudes from both of you. Here are two suggestions for your future reactions. So, you've reacted to 2 of Angelina's 3 studio covers for 2022. The remaining performance for your viewing came on February 14th, Valentines Day. If you haven't guessed already what she's singing, Angelina gives us an incredible performance of "My Funny Valentine." With this song, you can even compare how she performed it at 10 years old, and now, at 16. The more recent official music video was filmed in her favorite LA antique store. You may want to consider a back-to-back comparison or even just set them aside for February 2023. Not to leave you empty-handed, here's one that more than a few reactors and viewers have named it as their number-one performance! The song is "I'm Still Holding Out For You," from the artist Sterling Fox, aka BabyFuZz. At 10 years old, Angelina made a demo cover for Sterling. The song was not intended for release. Her mother, Sara Astar, was concerned about the song's mature content, especially in regards to Angelina's age. That would have been the end of the story had not someone leaked it out to the world. Hence, we have a stand-alone audio cover of the song. The video creator added pictures and clips of Angelina to go along with the song. The video can be found posted on the Gustavo De Yemo y Parre channel on KZbin. With Angelina, it's actually possible to have several number-one hits. She sings from a multiverse all her own. That's my story, anyway, and I'm sticking to it. I'm certain that this 10 year old's performance will easily become one of your number-one performances as well.

I have seen many Whitney fans react to this,and i remember one guy in particular. One of the brothas with a nicer tan then all of us 3 (my way of saying that he shares Whitneys skincolour) He kept stopping it because he got too excited,and he spoke to his sideman (the one that helps him edit and publish his videos im guessing) He said: You know,this will go from "have you heard Whitneys song I Have Nothing,to: Dude,have you heard Angelinas version of this song?!". And let me re-paint the picture of this guy,he is a massive Whitney fan. And he said: "People are gonna hate me for this im sure,but Angelina sings this better then Whitney!" Myself i heard her as barely a teenager doing this for fun,as a tribute to Whitney herself. With just a camera she had put up herself,a microphone and a pre-recorded track of the song,it sounded a tiny but karaoke stylish. And she blew me away already then,but you could tell that the strain on her voice became clear on the highest notes. But i think she explained it later on,that she wanted to test herself,as people only thought or meant she could sing down low and deep songs,in pure jazz style etc. Thats why she did not call it a cover until she was comfortable enough with her performance,wich this video is a solid proof of. She waited until her own body and vocals had matured abit more,and im sure tons of practices to this song,to perfect how she wanted to sound like. And she is flawless in this cover,she delievers this song with soo much more storytelling,emotion then Whitney ever did. Im not trashing Whitney,mom had all of Whitneys albums wich i co-listened to alot,i dont have any negative thoughts about Whitney whatsoever,if anything i memorize her life with sadness,i wish she got out of her addiction and real life obstacles before it damaged her the way it did. Back to the song,Whitney delievered it with that "diva power",at least before her own health started getting so damaged,so could no longer hit the highest notes live. (This came from her own circle,Whitney admitted to them that she simply couldnt hit the highest note of this song anymore,so i think either she stopped performing it live,or she re-arranged the song abit) And knowing how much of a Whitney fan Angelinas grandmother is,and Angelina as well by raiding her grandmothers music collection since childhood,this cover is really made with love. Like i mentioned before,Angelina embraces artists regardless of problems with addiction or whatever,thats why Angelina finds it as the biggest compliment possible that some call her Amy Winehouse either by looks,or by how she sounds. (And she has fought her parents over getting allowance to cover Amys songs,where Angelinas compromise was "re-writing the darkest lyrics") Imagine if all of the worlds population had Angelinas mindset and amount of love,there wouldnt be any issues at all. She is still SOO young,but she has the soul,mind as a well seasoned artist. Still till this day,im baffled by how she looks upon the world,the people etc living on this earth,and so much more. Now granted Angelina is very soft spoken,she admits she feels socially awkward having to talk in the public eye,she often struggles to let her speech float,its alot of stuttering sometimes. Im sure its both some nerves and shyness involved. But if you ask her to sing,she turns into this fearless,flawless goddess that will make everyone stop what they are doing or talking about,and just pay full attention to her. That power change in personality is very interesting and maybe just as mindblowing as her vocal performances. And right away after her last singing note,she goes back to "socially awkward but adorable Angelina". Oh remember the guy i talked about who was a Whitney fan and said Angelina did this one better then Whitney? He also said after hearing the emotions in her voice "if you ever hurt this girl...if you ever hurt this girl,im coming for you!" If you give thoose words some thought,its very deep! Angelina has gotten sooo many "Uncles,Aunties" and what have you through her journey already,who has "adopted her through music",and the common thing is that "we got your back,we will protect you!". Angelina should never fear ending up without a family,she will always have someone out there. And thats heartwarming! Oh man,this was Jess`s final reaction video as pregnant? Somehow i want to salute her for actually doing a reaction video,potentially the day before giving birth. Man,that speaks volume about her as a person too. I know of a few that would just lay low and take it much easier ahead of the big day.🕺👯‍♀💃

It's very strange....Im a 48 year old man and I started listening to this girl 7 years ago when she was about ten, but I also watched her performances from when she was 3 years old up to what was now - then. And the strange thing is, that I have this odd feeling of parenting proudness even though I've never met her or anything, but just to have followed her half of her life is like following a niece or some one close to that. Early on in our react journey we tried a movie reaction. I spent like a week editing it, but I never could get it to a point that didn't get blocked. Movie reactions would be amazing, but I don't think I'm good enough at editing to pull it off.
