Makes little sense when translated directly like that but Irish(Gaeilge) is an ancient language(one of the oldest in the world) that is very poetic, descriptive and emotive. As a result you need to consult an Irish speaker like myself for a translation on phrases like that one that are as old as the language itself and have no modern language equivalent to refer to. There's a more regular version of that phrase which is "go raibh maith agat" which is the same thing divided by 1000 basically haha 🙈🤣 "go raibh míle maith agat" is like the Irish equivalent of saying in English *thanks a million ".

It's so much more than just a song on so many levels! 😍 The song and video are already brilliantly creative, expressive and enchanting in the first place and this theatrical spectacular is bringing the whole thing to life in a way I could never have imagined, it really is one of the most epic things I have ever witnessed and I can't even find words sufficient enough to describe the spellbinding magic! 🖤✨ There are so many amazing elements and extremely cool touches combined in this performance, which showcase Bambie Thug's exceptional talent, versatility and passion, and the attention and thought put into each and every detail is incredible and contributes to the whole story of the piece! 🌕 I also really love how the colours of the second outfit are those of the transgender flag! It's so exciting that such a beautiful soul as Bambie Thug is representing alternative and queer people, raising awareness and acceptance, giving people who are different a voice and generally radiating love and togetherness, because this is exactly what the world needs a whole lot more of! ❤️ The most fantastic performance I have ever seen, by an amazing person and group of people who have all worked so hard which absolutely shows! Oh wow! Of course. I sadly only noticed their nails when it was mentioned here. I didn't make the connection but it makes perfect sense now. I remember taking part in a protest in 2014 when Israel (once again) launched another deadly assault and a group of Palestinian/Irish carried a giant key. I'm afraid I had to ask about the symbolism of it. Clever of Bambi. Apparently they wanted to spell 'ceasefire' in the ogham writing on their body but were stopped. There were a couple of other very good acts and I swear to God, if Israel win, with a song that was 💯 political, I won't believe it wasn't fixed and I won't believe it's not coincidental that the main sponsor (Moroccanoil) is an Israeli company who's on the BDS list. Not a conspiracy theorist at all but I don't think people realise how much influence the Israeli govt has outside of their own country. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@glendasmith6192 Yes! I am in shock today because I discovered a few hours ago about the Moroccanoil, and its connection to Israel. That explains why EBU didn't ban Israel's participation. Also that Italy leaked percentage is so weird. People are thinking that 40% of Italians voted for Israel and the Odds are going crazy. There are a lot of people saying they will vote for Israel now. Our only hope is the jury, I want to think that they as artists won't support Israel, but I am not so sure :\ I am not prepared for Israel to win, they would receive it as a "validation" to continue the war. I don't even know who should I vote for. This is a political show now. :\

Anyone that says this is not Irish doesn't know our history. We were a pagan people and yes Halloween was from Ireland. long before the fiddle and whistle music which is also fantastic.
