True, Jim Hines' (USA) - 9.95 1968 record was only broken by Carl Lewis in 1988! I do believe someone is gonna break that record and even dare to come close to 9.1 but that's a long time to come. We shall definitely see under 9s as well, I do believe. The world never witnessed under 10s from 1896 to 1968! I think they'd thought it was impossible!

Jusr wanted to bring something to the table her - 2012 - 9.63 BOLT 2016 - 9.8 2020 - 9.79 2024 - 9.79 Yohan blake ran 9.75 at 2012 , that would translate to a gold for the next 3 olympics , yet he gets so little recognition 😢 just was probably born in thr wrong era 😢

What an amazing race. Absolute respect to all the runners but Noah Lyles determination and acceleration endurance is unbelievable. To have been able to catch and beat Kishane Thompson on the line is next level speed. Congratulations Noah.

Leslie Tebogo did 42 strides while Seville did 48 strides in the race. Lyles did 43. In 9.8 seconds, I do 9.8 strides to cover 9.8 meters. Much respect to these guys.
