Where do you get water, and dump your tanks?
@RVAshsinApril Жыл бұрын
We didn't stay there long enough to have to worry about that. When we were in the Yuma area we camped mostly at the Imperial Dam LTVA. Which is great, there are dumpstations, water plus over at the boat landing nice hot showers for $1. You check around there are also RV Parks that you can dump at for a fee.

Good spot to re-up your 14 days in Quartzsite?
@RVAshsinApril3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what your asking
@charlestait53033 жыл бұрын
@@RVAshsinApril Sorry, What I wanted to know was if I am in say Hi Jolly 14 day camp in Quartzsite and after the 14 days I must vacate for at least another 14 days before I can return and it must be 25 miles between the two camps. So is it 25 miles south of Quartzsite?
@RVAshsinApril3 жыл бұрын
@@charlestait5303 it's close to 70 miles. On the plus side Yuma has great shopping opportunities, and the option of Fortuna Pond and Mittry Lake for free camping. If you don't want to go that far you could always go to Cibola National Wildlife Refuge which is in CA. about 50 miles from Quartzsite. Plus there is Palm Canyon between Quartzsite and Yuma, it is 27 miles

How far would you estimate this area is from the border to Los Algadonas mexico We go over there for dental work For the day Thank you
@RVAshsinApril2 жыл бұрын
My guess would be about 25 miles. There is dispersed camping on Sidewinder Road which would be closer if your going into Mexico. Or if you want to be really close you can park at the Quechan Casino for $10 a night.

Another place for people to pile on top of each other in the "wilderness". There's too many rigs back there. Them talking about how many rigs can get back there is everything that is wrong with the camping community. They see nothing wrong with how close all those rigs are because they are used to living in apartments and neighborhoods. But it's not ok when there are hundreds and sometimes thousands of acres available.
