was half expecting the "ding ding ding ding" of you climbing up the ladder lmao. Sidenote: This acapella version of the song was so brilliantly used and done. It told us that Snake was alone, he was far away from people who loved him (paramedic etc.) and he was a lone soldier. The whole ladder also allowed the developers to load the next scene seamlessly, without a loading screen. On the PS2 it was a very clever use and brillant game dev. That ladder scene is so well timed, that you transition from a jungle to a desert, and by the time Snake get's to the top, you can hear the wind howling(SFX get's louder) and the music fades and it's like "yeah you're alone Snake, but you got a mission to do"
