Your coverage was truly superb. Aside from the behind the scenes coverage, interviews, and your personal insights, I also just really enjoyed your casual grace, genuine enthusiasm, and kindness in your interactions with others. The fashion world is rife with tactless and brutish pathologies, and it was heartwarming to see how disarming of an effect of your personality had on others.

very long time fan of the channel, I watched this video in parts over the course of a couple of days in order to actually be focused and not doing anything else. not sure how that effects the algorithem but yea I want to learn more about the power dinamics in the industry. something that really stuck out to me was just how intimate the shows were, and how intimate the working enviroments were described to be. I didn't like how vulnerable the models were, in kartik's show.

Wow took a break from the channel to work on my novel and now I caught this right on time yaye. Walking my dog near La Cienega and Melrose the other day ....and..... discovered...the Margiela store OMG on a little artisan side street that used to be all art galleries.

The only thing I don’t get is the look with the real see through material and the naked model wearing it, it just doesn’t feel very Margiela, I’m thinking bout Martin Margiela his idea of going against the idea of the typical stereotype of “beauty” while typing this

Every. single. time. I put on one of Bliss’s videos as some “light background entertainment” while I get housework done I find myself 10 mins in sat directly in front of the screen and getting absolutely nothing done because the commentary is just too good to risk missing a minute of. I think it was a comment on another video or maybe on the discord someone say that while they aren’t a “fashion” person or involved in the industry in any way, it was the obvious passion that Bliss (and behind the camera, Daniella!) have for what they do that make this just stellar content irregardless of the subject matter - which I would absolutely agree with. This was another two hours of my life perfectly spent 🙏🏼 appreciate y’all !

as a retired costume designer i watch fashion content online to maintain a sense of connection to my field and i cherry pick the shortest ones to watch to maintain my sense of being retired. If I wasn't always so impressed with your content I would never have even bothered trying to skip through a few highlights in an almost 2 hour vid, but your précis, biographies and opinions are so accurate, informative and fresh I couldn't stop watching all 1:51 minutes and 2 seconds. i understand both Rahul Mishra and Snake by DHL make so much more sense to me now. brilliant choice on your part

I just came to realisation of why I save your videos to watch and it takes me some time to get to them, kinda get in the mood - it's because your work is radically different from regular youtube content. The closest association to the feeling I get from your work is the one of actually consuming art - galleries, museums, non-mainstream films and classical or experimental music concerts, whenever my full and undivided attention is in. Thank you!
@zenosAnalytic10 ай бұрын
another thing I really liked about this Margiela collection is just how MUCH it really and truly incorporated the bodies of the models/wearers. I know that's mostly gotten prurient attention, but these were looks that didn't just accentuate the bodies of the wearer but actively incorporated them, and that's so awesome to see/such a great statement! And to do THAT in a collection with so much structure and shapewear!

I have watched you for ages and often felt you were speaking a language that I don’t know, or even recognized. I have worn and collected thrift shop or vintage before we called it vintage (I’m 74 years old). The point is after ages and ages, I got it. I got the inspiration, the merger of art, nature, practicality. Maybe because I saw Nuryeve and Margot Fontaine dance swan lake. Or that I’ve worn corsets and hoop skirts. Or I’ve seen suits from Saville Row. I got it. I finally understand your wild enthusiasm.

I could say so many things about this video - as a journalist , amazes me the attention that not only the designers give to Bliss, but the attention that Bliss give to each and every one of them, listening so carefully that even some of them became more open and friendlier during the footage. *1:19:11** JAN JAN VAN MISS CUT COAT* is exceptionally clever - he has made each front and back one and then rotated it around the scye [arm hole] to create a frontal balance so distorted it becomes a V double-breasted. Unless he has weighted the back - its going to feel like its slipping forward all the time and you will endlessly be wanting to push it back, but it's very nice.

Now some of my favorite colors. Also like clothes lightweight and sheer. As a woman who loves float-y clothes that show off curves, but menswear turns me on, too; big, loose jackets that swing as you walk, narrow, ankle-length pants or sllightly bell-shaped, light linens that waft around you.These MM clothes are gorgeous.
