Most other hermits also aren't doing megabuilds. Grian spent like 300 hours catching fish and building a weird shrine, and I loved every second of it. Mumbo made the dumbest "door" ever invented in Minecraft, using a few magma blocks and a llama, and I loved every second of it. Honestly the lack of megabuilds in favor of collabs is my favorite part of this season, and what I always hope for in the beginning of a new season.

I feel like those who are doing megabuilds too are also doing them in a more casual way, like I just think of how the hourglass or castle or pyramid appeared and doc or wells or skizz were like... Oopsie I accidentally built something huge. I guess it seems like even the mega builds were not built with the intention to be mega, they were just people having fun building who leaned really far into their ideas, which is also what iskall is doing.

I honestly like how you’re building this season…. Relax, laid back… making a bland build and then shading it and decorating it. Its far better than designing something in creative and building it with lightmatica cause we can’t see the thought of the builder behind the build.

Agreed. I love Iskal for that very reason. I much prefer watching Iskalls content, I love how he doesnt plan everything or make it perfect. He just figures it out as He goes. The content is amazing, and I'd much prefer what we have to having Iskall focus His time on building mega bases. I hope He doesnt let the hate get to him and keeps doing exactly what he is doing, and keeps the great content coming, by just being himself and play minecraft the way he enjoys it rather than shifting his focus becasue of the negative comments.

It sucks to see all the hermits over the years dropping off and losing inspiration for minecraft due to the overwhelming pressure to produce. This season has been so nice watching the hermits be hermits and get back to the roots of this comunity. The interactions and more viewer involved videos make me want to watch more. Its also more the pace that the community plays at so most people could feel like theyre playing alongside herrmitcraft rather than feeling uninspired being unable to do what their favourtie crafters can do. Sorry for the long comment, just voicing my support. We love you iskall!❤❤

The Minecraft community has been desensitized to all the insane Litematica builds people do in their "Hardcore Minecraft" series. The type of content you and the other hermits are putting out has value and will be timeless once the season is over. These videos will age really well and people WILL look fondly back on Season 10. Most of the people complaining are just kids who just think "bigger" = "better".

I’d much rather see smaller, lived-in builds than mega builds any day. The content that people care about is the interactions between hermits. Look at the Life Series - no crazy builds - just a lot of fun. ❤ Keep doing you!

The life series is the best example to use here. It's almost entirely interactions with others with a sprinkling of building here and there. Yet it's one of the most popular SMPs out there, and for good reason. The insanity of the series is what makes it incredible, not the builds.

iskall you're one of THE most driven people on this server you're always coming up with entertaining ideas and you're doing so well with your builds. dont let the haters get to you! also, a suggestion for the packing central tm! you could extend the building to the right (remove the staircase) and install a couple of fake garage doors, perhaps with a little forklift parked inside as well (if you want to keep one open). just a few andersite stairs stacked in a three by four would probably do it and it would fit the area so well! there could even be a little office area on top of the garage and the other roof could be a little rooftop terrace/break room!

This man iniciates the most interaction and laughs between hermits this season and he gives us viewers absolute tons of content co consume. 1. I have adhd and if I would be on hermitcraft my content would be very similar to yours, I can't help it, building huge things when you don't really have the image clear or the energy for it is incredibly hard. I have my singleplayer world where I try play similar to you hermits, and before S10 it became clear to me that I could never hypothetically join hermitcraft bc it takes me days to even get a starter base set up. I've played for weeks now and havent even built the house. I have chests and a couple farms lmao. I've been doing some terraforming and it takes me the whole day. If I had other ppl in the world I'd do pretty much similar to what you're doing. So after S10 started and you got me hooked on your content I got really happy. I realised that I don't have to build a super cool starter base, and then build a super huge, mega build to be a hypothetical hermit. Just have fun, that's all that's needed. Your videos made me realise I can potentially make content on youtube as well, I've been wanting to but haven't dared as consistency isn't my strongsuit, among other things. So thanks for being you, thanks for keeping it real. Plus the comment "meanwhile the other hermits are doing so much more", uh who?? Only other hermit that fits that description is Doc, lmao, but we all know he's on a different world than the rest of us, haha. None of the others are doing super big things, they're all taking it chill, having fun. Which leads me to my next point: 2. Iskall, when I started watching hermitcraft I watched Grian. Then Scar and then Mumbo. Through mumbo I got to know you and I really enjoyed the two of you together but didn't dare check out your channel. (It takes a long while for me to "accept"/"like" new youtubers I find). I've slowly but surely expanded my horizon of hermits to watch. And do you wanna know who my favourite to watch is this season? Which hermit I look forward to posting the most? Which hermit brings me the most joy with their nice, relaxing, funny, enjoyable videos? It's you, Iskall. Because you just take it chill, you have so much fun with the other hermits and you do what you want. Your buildings already look incredibly amazing. The gradient?? Are you kidding me?? It's so good, I'm jealous, haha. You are also posting so many videos, I'm kinda concerned you're gonna burn yourself out already! Do not stress with videos. Look at your friends, they don't post as often as you do, and we still love them and their content. Look at Mumbo! He has barely any videos and just a starter house basically yet we laugh and enjoy the videos he does have. If you need a few days to just chill, if you wake up and go "ugh.. I don't wanna edit today.." then don't. You don't owe us shit, we don't expect anything from you. We are here to receive what you make when you make it, and we enjoy it regardless.

You are not stupid or lazy. Let's start there. Your content is fun and interesting! And you bring a very unique attitude to the server that keeps things fun! I have enjoyed all of your builds this season including the group contribution building. That honestly was my favorite and even though the tower is super cool, I miss the old building. What a cool idea!

Doing massive grinds is a type of content but I think the interactions and unique creations are a much more valued type of content. You have me laugh more than any other youtube video ever has and that's the type of content that will stick with me for much longer than just a massive build.

Ive never watched Hermitcraft before this season, and you're the key reason why I'm so invested in everyones videos, every time. Id not seen your content before, but now im hooked on your main channel, vodskall, and your Twitch streams. The best, most fun MC player I've ever watched!

And me saying this isn't agreeing with the "lazy" comments btw, I think he's been anything but lazy, working hard to create things that 1 HE can enjoy and stay interested in for as long as possible, and 2 for us to watch him and the other hermits enjoy. Great content :)

Hermitcraft, to me, is a collection of awesome content creators. Each is different in personality and their imagination. That is what makes it so enjoyable. All an episode needs is for the creator to enjoy the creation. So do what you want to do. We are here for you!!!!

I like to watch Hermitcraft the most when there are some meetings between 1-3 other hermits (not more, because then EVERYONE has the same clip for weeks), and especially when traveling through the server, because that lets you figure out things. Things like this: "Aha, that build-X was not built yet, but build-Y was. Ok, so then this even happened between Hermit-A & Hermit-B's videos"

It's actually quite refreshing that you're showing every step of the process. Even in a creative world I sometimes take hours just for something simple. Your videos videos have really shined a light on how much work each and everyone of you put into your videos

iskall, you be you. the burn out from the consumer pressure of getting the biggest and most complete builds made me sad. nothing against hermits or gamers who prefer to use a creative world and then present fully thought out builds via a time lapse for immediate consumption...but i really enjoy seeing the creative process and i feel it's been hard to find. it's a shame there is an algorithm. it has a way of killing creativity. i am really enjoying your renewed drive to create within your own format on hermitcraft, and i am really REALLY enjoying this vodskall channel. keep going

Your videos are the most genuine and it feels like we are playing with you rather than watching a video. Your laugh is contagious and seeing you grind the hours to make something like that cool wall makes it more realistic too. I’m enjoying watching your videos so much, just keep being you!!!

I love how people would shamelessly call other peoples builds/videos lazy, but at the same time, wheres their mega builds? Where their 10 season of hermitcraft? No need be calling down others just cuz they arent doing as much as others, it's like mumbos reference to the 2 types of cars, Iskall may be the lambo of end busting and may not be as productive as a builder doesn't mean that hes not putting in his all and not taking his time to put love and care into what he builds. To hear his laughter and reactions to his own builds being "bad" or "ugly" fills my heart with joy knowing that he know he can improve but what hes done has made him proud and thats all that matters in the end is making yourself happy. Because if Iskalls not happy then im not happy and im sure im not the only one in that boat.

Physical speaking, it takes 100 people praising you per negative comment. And the negative comment will probably still overshadow us. But we love the content iskall. Please shove those comments aside in your mind. If people think you are “lazy” just tell yourself that they are watching the wrong guy. The beauty of hermitcraft is that there are so many different people and styles. Bluntly said, we have entertainers, grinders, a theater kid, story tellers, technical people. No hermit can be all of them.. you are a great entertainer and technical builder. And probably more I’m not aware of. Just be you iskall. We love you and your content for what they are.
