WOW EVERYONE, not even 24 hours after posting so impressed with the comments and feedback. I really wanted this video to be more about just the packages, but when I start talking about this car it is hard to stay in one area, but that is why I did not go into other options and so forth , really would have been confusing. There are items I did not talk about but shared in the end slides about the packages and again overall just excited about the amount of content we have in these cars. Thanks for your time and support and see you on a future Vlog, Rick Conti

I am not at the moment ready to buy a vette yet. I have pinpointed the age when I would like to buy one someday hopefully. I have a 17 camaro ss and everytime I push the pedal down it puts a smile on my face. I actually became a chevy v8 fan when I bought a 99 trans am with the corvette engine a year after I joined the service. I was in a dark place after my divorce and that camaro pulled me back to the light. Everytime I look at my camaro I smile. I think I am destined to be with chevy. First car was a chevy cavalier and hopefully my last car will be the corvette.😊

Another perfect example of why Rick Conti is such a valuable resource to the Corvette enthusiast and community with videos like this. Even if you’re not currently “in the market” to purchase, just learning great info about our cars is what I love about Rick. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought new cars - or anything for that matter - when you’re spending your hard earned cash on something and the salesperson doesn’t know or give a crap about the product - they just want your money. That’s why my next purchase will be with Rick (again)! Thanks for a great video, Rick.

I would love to have one of these. I had a 78L-82 but sold it because the neighbors wouldn't leave it alone at times when not in the locked garage. Today's Vettes need very smooth roads. Great explanation of the packages Rick. One thing I noticed with the side rocker was that it seemed like I was always hitting my foot on it when I got in a car with the standard one. On the GS you ordered for us we went with the #2 aero package and I have never hit my foot getting in or out on the one that come with that because of the small indentation it has. And, it has done a great job protecting the paint.

Rick can you Explain why the leather on the 3lt. And 3LZ are coming unglued after a year or 2.
@dank6554 жыл бұрын
I doubt he'll cover that. I'm sure it's partly why they sell more 2LT than 3LT since this has been an issue known about in the C7 and C6. I hope I can Keep my 2015 3LT leather dash as nice as it is now. It only has 8,000 miles on it. Too bad I didn't learn about it until after I picked it up less than a month ago; I would have steered clear of 3LT. I've heard dealers will foot 2/3 of the $3,000 bill to fix the dash. It seems GM wants to keep this under wraps, like the cracking wheels on GS, ZO6 and like the 15-16 ZO6 undersized supercharger related overheating issues. Way to own up to your faults GM. This otherwise wondrous car is your flagship, we deserve better.
