I know some NPC resonators exist, what I’m trying to ask in this video is why so many others aren’t. The condition is rare enough that majority of the requests asked of us are primarily because we are what they aren’t, people with resonator status. Similar to vision-holders in Genshin Impact. Some NPCs are vision holders, but most aren’t. A list of just some NPCs that are resonators are captain exiles, midnight rangers, and some black shores members.

@@doedoel035kinda like the last of us (or walking dead I forgot) where everyone is already infected and anyone who dies turns into a “zombie” Another thing that kinda builds on yours is that everyone could turn into tacet discords when they die. Which is shown with inferno rider and one of the mephises, as well as the tictacs during the scar quest that seemed to be dead children and civilians.

The closest to a TD we had is Calcharo. He not only posess a TD as his co-attacker, he also turn half of his body into a very "Tacet-like" skins.

​@@Ionic_Glaceduring cbt 1, those effects were explained away as "Calcharo has TD frequencies" alongside resonator frequencies. We don't know for sure what that means but it could imply that Calcharo's situation is unique.

Knowing that lament comes from bad emotions from humans and the way to get a tacet mark is to push yourself to the limit which could also mean push your emtions to its limit,, that idea gives us a clue that tacet mark is like a mini lament inside the person and that the power they wield is the power same as tacet discords

I once read about something about resonators succumbing to overclocking and transforming into Tacet Discord. Body deformation also indicates that those resonators once experience coming to close to overclocking.

I'm waiting for the day when Yangyang becomes some sort of bird threnodian. And this isn't Yangyang hate, but it's bc she's the very first character we see (aside from the mysterious goddess of course), she's in the friend group, she's our first love interest tbh. I just keep thinking she's gonna be the one to change into a TD or a threnodian first. And I think it'd hit harder if Kuro made it irreversible.

In CBT1 Yangyang did almost get overclocked after the Crownless attack. So it's possible that Kuro has Yangyang's death in mind. Still haven't forgotten what happened to Lucia in PGR

Threnodian... right. Are you sure you're using the right term? Threnodians are born from humanity's negative emotions and I don't think she's one. Sure, she's very attentive, but if that was the case we would've have a lot of Threnodians after The War Beneath the Moon (where Geshu Lin was last seen). I mean maybe she could go overclock and later go rouge, or transform into a TD, but a Threnodian? Naah.

Technically speaking, (almost) all of Fractsidus are Artificial Resonators, right? Since they fuse part of their bodies with Tacet Discords. (I thought I had it bad rolling for Gachas, but native Solarian-3 have to roll for their fortes at life Such cruel world)

This is a good start to the analysis. You have said many correct things in your video. Let me share a couple of things, I've been playing WuWa since 1CBT, One of the first things explained to you is that resonators are people who have mutated due to the alteration of reality brought about by the Lament. The Lament still persists, I still don't have idea of its origin, if it was caused or occurred as a natural disaster But the truth is that it brought about a partial alteration of natural laws, making matter behave like waves and frequencies. The word "resonator" in physics refers to: A device that enters into resonance when it receives excitations from acoustic or electromagnetic waves of certain frequencies. Which is what some humans have basically become. Emotions and feelings also play an important role in this, both for the Lament and the progressive transmutation of humans.

More like I think that’s what they’re *trying* to do atp in time. I’m almost sure they mentioned something of the like, and from what I remember they view reasonators as an evolution from normal human, a positive one at that. So it would make sense if they were trying to artificially produce tacet marks. Which might have been why they did the TD fusion experiments.

I might be wrong but I think soldiers in the army have tacet marks as well so technically they are also resonators, it's just that others have different jobs than soldiers and these are normal soldiers.

5:02 Bro, I have a slight clue what the lament is as well.... but for this it also ties in with the Black Hole formed due to the lament in 1.3 patch. [And my theory] is based on another game/mod called Enderal I'll give a hint : (The High Ones) and another game Mass effect 1 to 3 accord to the Reapers. Here their wiki for the web : The High Ones are beings that exist in Vyn. Unlike humans, the High Ones have been described as a "force of nature", existent in the same way as the tides or the wind, as pure energy. Together with The Cycle itself, they could be seen as the main atangonists of Enderal. The High Ones have no physical form. Although the origin of the High Ones is not clear, **they are known to reproduce through harvesting the collective consciousness of an entire civilization by initiating the Cleansing. Once a civilization is consumed, the High Ones wait for humanity to redevelop and repeat the process at a similar point in its growth** Because of its indefinite nature, it is unknown how many High Ones actually exist.

SPOILER BELOW Guys in the latest quest where we travel inside the disaster site of the port to stop the thing from exploding it says something about reaching space. Did anyone pick up in this? It sounded sort of like that this is what caused the disaster in that region. Like travelling to space is taboo amd this is what got everyone killed.

Yes actually what is quite interesting is that the same thing caused the punishing virus. The whole gist is that the punishing virus happens when a civilization evolves to the point of creating zero point energy. In PGR(Kuros other game) this takes place via the punishing virus. The Lament is described very similarly to the punishing virus. Especially in the way that the Lament is not a singular event but seems to be a chain of events. This is actually one of the bits of evidence for a theory that WuWa takes place in the distant future of PGR. Originally I said it as a joke but it does actually have some credibility

Something you didn't mention, while I'm not sure it might be important, is that many NPC's in Black Shores have tacet marks. Maybe it is just a prerequisite to join the Black Shores but I think it's curious because we haven't seen NPC's with tacet marks outside the Black Shores (as far as I know)

All of the midnight rangers are also resonators. Some of their resonance powers are just not very strong. So the likelihood most become playable is pretty low

Rover's amnesia is self inflicted. I know what video you are talking about but I would exercise caution because there isn't really enough information about divine beings. Most of his evidence exists outside of the game and used sources from fictional media rather than actual research on mythology

In stories like these I’m normally interested in the people who join arms with the enemy. Idk the lore too well, but my theory is everyone was originally a tacet discord and the gods before used to run the place with their servant tacet discord, but the god in the beginning of the game changed everyone to human. Everything that’s happening in the world, from destroying human civilisation and changing people to tacet discord is just the world trying to go back to normal. If the world is trying to return to normal and fighting what “normal” was is futile, it would explain why anyone would want to join arms with the enemy to an extent.
