This seems like a good price for a decent boot I prefer hiking shoes, I get about 1 season out of them if I use it for all things lawn/landscape and for my outdoor recreation (camping/hunting/hiking). I spray waterproofing on them when I get them. I rotate out 3 sets of the same hikers. I use the new ones to look my best doing the stuff that's most public-facing. I use the oldest ones for the rougher/dirtier work. The one in the middle (not the new ones or the oldest ones) gets a bit of repair like glue in any gaps, more waterproofing, new laces etc) and gets semi-retired and prepared to replace the oldest ones when they finally give out. I'm not about appearances with hard work and outdoor work, but when I need a crew working with me or I'm in front yards of wealthy homes or want to take a selfie or a drone shot for promotional content, I need to look my best. next year i might try some cleats! Natural aeration and traction on some of the steeper slopes might not be bad, and they are built for running... but I would only experiment with it, I don't have high hopes on it but I can see the functionality of it
