The answer is it depends. People must be diagnosed from a licensed clinician and they must determine the best medication based on each persons medical history. Definitely chat with your provider and he or she should know what’s best for you. Take care!

My doc said I have pid i used to have smelly discharge earlier but after using clindamycin pessary it went away and after that the discharhe started to come out thick daily in less quantity also after doing a bimanual examination my doc said i have no sign of infection even after several pid medications the discharge is there it goes away during the antibiotics period and comes back again within a span or 5 6 days what do you think it is and why this could be happening? Thanks for this teachings. I had evacuation almost a month now due to missed miscarriage. A week ago, a felt a pain and heaviness on the left side of my pelvis. As at today and some days before, i only feel the heaviness. Could i judt treat for PID, cause thats my suspition. Thanks

No problem. It is always more safe to be evaluated. Many people could have retained matter in the uterus that may need to be evacuated further vs other problems that could occur. When in doubt see your provider. Take care!

If the MRI did not see a potentially broken piece, likely it did fall out at one time. Unfortunately besides an Ultrasound and MRI there are no additional studies to detect a part. Definitely follow up with your provider to discuss so you feel at ease. Take care.

Yes STDs can last months. PID can develop over several days. There is no specific time frame on when PID can develop.

Unfortunately PID is quite complicated in various people. It all depends on if you were placed on the correct antibiotic regimen, if you indeed had PID, and if the duration of antibiotics was appropriate. I was recently diagnosed by a Dr I have pelvic inflammatory disease from BV and past previous std's. It just recently became SO pain full after having a surgery. A gynecologist whom suspeced i had endometriosis , so he did a laparoscopic surgery. I also have herpes and never knew about It correctly for probably months or a year... so my question is would it.be bad to try and get pregnate? Ssx really aggravates it so.idk what to do!! Help

That’s a hard question and it all depends on a series of factors that your OBGYN would be able to answer considering they would know your full history. Definitely schedule a visit with your provider as they can break it all down for you. Take care!

I have a question.. in short, I had a fever, chills, body aches, diarrhea, highly abnormal vagina discharge, extreme headache and pelvis pain. Went to the doctor, said I had BV, Yeast and Gonorrhea. But my thing is, if gonorrhea is supposed to cause little to no symptoms, what explains those extreme symptoms I’ve just experienced? I’ve actually recently went to the doctor 3 days ago to get tested for HIV but they requested that I also get tested for syphilis, hepatitis, etc. My results came in today, negative for syphilis and hepatitis but no HIV results. What are your thoughts?

Definitely your provider should have performed a pelvic or speculum exam to see if you had cervical motion tenderness. If they didn't perform a good exam, they did not do their job. I would follow up with your provider for sure with your concerns. When it comes to the HIV lab, it usually takes a little longer to get that lab back. Thanks for watching!

Nice vedio, Sir i have a problem from almost one year, i have pain and contractions in my lower abdominal area till vagina, after every two , three months it started and it take ,5,6 days to recove. Many times i visited the docter , once she says you have inflammation in your uterus. But the all other time she said there is no problem , she observe my ultrasound reports every time and said everything is normal ,i do not know why you feel pain and contrations. Yes if someone has PID during pregnancy this is very rare, but can be a life and fetus threatening infection. As a result, it needs to be treated and a persons medical provider must determine the best treatment for the patient. Take care!

Hey Enalora, I would definitely consult with your provider as a thorough personal history and physical would need to be accomplished to be sure. But when it comes to gonorrhea and chlamydia, women could have only one symptom or simply no symptoms. Hey doc, i have lower right abdominal pain since at least 1 year. It goes away and come back sometimes. Recently I had noticed it comes near to day 14 of periods but stays for many days like one two weeks. Currently I am having the pain. It is not too much pain it is normal that I can feel. I remember once a time it was so worse that I woke up from sleep and couldn't seat properly. I had gone for ultrasound but they said there is nothing and everything ok. This time I am also having pain in my right leg groin below the pain area. I don't know what is it ? Can you guess what is it and what are differences between PID and appendicitis

@@swetasharma7709 test results shows nothing. I have had ultrasound and also some blood tests to check if there is any infection but everything is normal. By doing research on Google about various diseases I felt it may be chronic appendicitis, chronic because sometimes its symptoms may go and come which make it difficult to diagnose. I went to a doctor he checked my ultrasound report and checked my abdominal area and said there is nothing like appendicitis. I said about chronic appendicitis but i think he didn't knew about this term most of doctors only know acute appendicitis. So the doctor said it may be IBS irritable bowel syndrome. Because in this all test results come normal. And all the symptoms of ibs were exactly the same which I have. But there was a question pain in the groin area. Which was not related to ibs and doctor was not able to give the answer he just neglected it. But I am still suffering with it and sometimes feel very difficult to move my leg up and strech it without support. Overall I took the medication of ibs and stomach pain was better for few months but this disease is not curable but we have to follow a special diet to avoid further pain. But I don't follow diet because roti (chapati) is must in indian home I can't avoid it. Name of diet- low fodmap diet
