As a sherd herder, it's not too bad to get the ocean ones once you have water breathing (or respiration 3 and a door on java, bedrock can use a piece of sand plus sugarcane as a poor substitute), elytra, and rockets. Especially with nether roof access and portal construction (java-only). But it's not too bad to travel in the nether with elytra, rockets, fire resistance potions, and totems, even if on BE. Trial Chamber sherds are easy/plentiful, too. However, the desert well and desert temple kinda suck--the trail ruins really sucks. But if you let yourself play with chunkbase, as most hermits do, then those are also relatively easy, even if more rare.

Rendog, in the next season of hermitcraft, I think it would be a cool idea to land gigacourp in a large Mesa plateau canyon area and terraform it from the barren landscape into a lush custom jungle. Maybe instead of mine shafts, you could dig out some custom caves with new biomes created by gigacourp technology. It could be a great mega base and give more experience with custom trees and foliage. Love what you do, keep it up

Cub’s launcher design using the wind bursts would be a good fit for a mechanism to get to the top of your observation tower. Keralis used it in his recent build to get into his balloon/nether portal. It’s more futuristic/spacey than a water elevator and it makes a neat WHOOSH sound.

Doc figured it out right away. If anything's weird, it's Joe Hills, and he nailed it. These are parade markers by Joe Hills. There is literally no other hermit on the server that would be so weird as one of the newest ones, right? Grian would at least put chickens or something. So not him. But when you back track to the parade like Doc did it all makes sense. These are parade markers for WHERE the parade would go. The levers ARE arrow head pointers as well.

I think my favorite part of this base is that the build style suits classic RTS base-building games such as Starcraft, Red Alert, or Dawn of War. Perhaps you could use an Ore Processing Plant. Amethyst could work well against the packed mud terrain.

Great episode, the base really is filling in!! I admire your dedication to the aesthetic you established way back in- er, episode two or three? With the alien planet and the color scheme. Really cool to see and makes my brain happy to see to cohesion with its little pieces and parts of independent chaos, too. Also, i get that Doc would say things that are weird are Joe, but my money's on Cub, regarding the shopping area monoliths. Jevin might also make sense, as a prankster and hes got that covered forest this season, similar to the coming Pale Gardens. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Lol the Creeking monoliths im guessing were not Joe but rather either Xisuma or Cubfan... both are usually very hip to the snapshots and dev cycles than almost any other hermit. Id put my money on one of those two being behind the creeking monoliths.

Instead of having halves or sanding the gun powder into the sugarcane tower water stupid building in the middle to connect and that could be auto crafting each Q for this production I think that would look cooler just seeing that and then you would have a heart to the front entrance of the auto crafting space where you can have a walkway to the front areas so that They could do maintenance on the the
