@@noahperius8291 you know what’s weird. When I ride Yamaha vstar 950 I have all the issues with the visor rattle, but when I rode hd softail standard there are no issues even at speeds like 170 km/h. On the Yamaha I have a wind shield maybe that’s the issue but it defiantly starts rattling at around 70-80 km/h

@@pocwiczcycu I just installed one and it makes my helmets rattle from the wind buffeting but if you find the right height for you windshield it shouldn’t do that

So, I have a Bell Bullitt. Have had it for 2yrs. Prior I had a Gringo and a Shoei GT Air. Summation: The Bell Bullitt is my GO-TO. When I had another helmet along with the Bullitt, it was always the Bullitt I chose. Longer answer: WHY? WAS YOUR SHOEI QUIETER? Yes! The Shoei is quieter on highways. I still chose the Bullitt over the Shoei knowing this because overall, it is more comfortable on me. I was never comfortable with the Shoei. In terms of general helmet comfort, it was comfortable howbeit compared to the Bullitt I was left desiring more. VISTA: In case it isn't apparent to any new helmet users out there, the Bell Bullitt offers a massive view. Great visibility before you and your peripheral. You need this when it matters most in intersections, busy towns, etc. Overall, I do want to enjoy my view when I'm on beautiful country roads. There's no obstruction with my grand field of vision. There are quieter helmets, but oftentimes, they have a smaller field of vision. I don't want to compromise that or give up the enjoyment of having a great view in front of me. I hear some wind on Highways. Nothing overbearing but that is very apparent when I'm riding over 60MPH. PERSONAL PREFERENCE: I prefer backroads over highways. So the wind noise at higher speeds isn't a deal breaker. I don't mind it. I'll buy it again fully knowing what I am going to get. I love it's retro look and it is hard to beat that with any other brand with the safety standard Bullitt currently has. BUFFETTING: I do not experience this. Now, pause here ⏸️ Wind buffeting includes several factors; your height, what kind of motorcycle you have, which includes the type of fairing or windshield and its height, body position... so this will vary greatly from rider to rider. Don't go by one source on that. What doesn't work well for one 6ft person may work perfectly for a 5ft,7 person. Well, there you have it.
