I always support Black Owned business in the ATL. Can Black people stop buying Teslas. It is a horrible purchase. The battery is expensive, you have to get new tires at least twice a year, you can't have it towed by a regular tow truck company, and folks learned during the hurricane that the batteries catch on fire during a flood. I loved when Michael Baisden was on the radio, he always shouted out to Black Businesses. Miss him. Do your research people. All these Businesses are in the Black community that you are listing. Political redistricting slayed Black voters this election. Kamala lost by 184,000 votes in Georgia.

When we try to spend money in some Black owned businesses, it’s as if we don’t deserve to be treated as well still are expected to continue doing business with them because they are Black even if the service is bad or the product is not up to standard. Give us the same courtesy and service that we pay for. I am a 72 WF and I am right there with all of you. I hate this separation of black and white. In reality, Trump doesn't care for any of us. I cannot afford to do Christmas. I am definitely boycotting Christmas. I am lucky to be able to pay my bills since my husband passed. So I have nowhere to go and no money to get there. I am back to where I was in my 20s.

Great! I downloaded GUU. I’ve always wanted something that would tell me who companies donated to. I’m white but I’ve always agreed with the policies of black politicians and voted for them. I always vote. What’s good for black people is good for all of us. I felt very betrayed by the 2024 election.

Homemade vanilla, kosher salt w herbs from my garden, thrifted books, infused oil w herbs, home made spice mix, baked goods. Sewed kitchen towel w thrifted Christmas fabrics. Making them something to eat or use with love like my Grandparents did.

Family gathering = time to talk finances for Jan 1. Save your funds this holiday and invest and help each other. Every culture has benefited from our love of buying things to look "rich". Start a monthly family meeting to discuss financial goals. The next 4 years will be crazy. Nothing like Jan 1 to not owe anyone from Christmas spending.
