@brandonklotz1207 Жыл бұрын
Honey is sugar and sugars a carb. Usually people say not to eat carbs at night. I think this is because carbs are a fast source of energy and. You don’t do anything requiring that at night so the body stores this energy as fat. I’m not 100% here I just think that’s what happens so I may be wrong.

Is it that important to be strict on portion? I mean I used to train in a gym for about 2 months with a PT and follow exactly the food and the portion that my PT at the time was given to me. Then, due to various reasons, I have to stop so now I only train at home but still try to follow a diet with high protein, less fat and sugars. But in the case of meat, veggies, fruit or rice, things I considered healthy, I eat a lots, like my body also accustomed to that. Is that ok or are there anything I should modify to improve my result. Thanks!

For my accounts: 200g egg whites - 20g protein 2 whole eggs - 15g protein 100g beef uncooked (+/- 70g cooked) - 17g protein 30g walnuts - 4,65g protei Total 4,65 + 17 + 15 + 20 = 56,65g of protein in this meal... where the hell you get the 81g that you put in the final macros? problem with all those "protein before bed" approaches is that you will not give your liver a break and a chance to do what it is supposed to do to detox the body and clear all waste over night, thats the reason why intermittent fasting works so well not only for weight loss but just for detoxing the body by NOT ingesting and poisioning it with food every several hours.

I can't sleep if I eat dinner without carbs. Makes no sense eating carbs in the morning, midday and then no carbs before bed. Also if you wake up at 3am it is because your cortisol starts to rise due to low liver glycogen.. If you eat most of your carbs at night you will rise insulin and keep cortisol low. So you can sleep like a baby.. :)
@adamfaisal3534 жыл бұрын
You could easily add low fod-map vegetables to this meal. Vegetables that have zero calories, a little fibre, and contain micro nutrients and minerals to help digestion. Just eating plain protein and fat isn't healthy, a full spectrum of food is a better, healthier option.👍 But then again, ironically, despite being the face of health and fitness, bodybuilders are not the healthiest people on the inside.
