Good point on the stamina component. It's one thing to get to the party, it's something else to close it down. It seems consistent that the Cinderella teams are few and far between and it takes a sophomore effort in a final series to bring home the gold. I just looked at last 10 game stats. Three teams are tied at 8 - 2 with Connecticut Sun 6 - 4. Liberty, Lynx, and Fever are "Coming in Hot!" as Clark commented a few days ago. If momentum means anything, the Fever could claim King of the Mountain when it's all over.

Correct!! They have the talent BUT winning a game means you have to make more points than the other team! If the playoffs is gonna be like them entering the game with the Sparks they’ll get stuffed in the first round! The Fever was plying a 7 win team at home with a days rest the day before. They start the game playing like they were away playing an 18 win team, while being tired, confused, unable to shoot, or make easy layups. That’s a complete opposite from a team that blew out their previous matchup!

I mean anything is possible, right? Probable? Who’s to say. The way the team is gelling and becoming one body, so to speak, despite the lack of experience, I would say they have a shot. Slim maybe, but before the Olympic break, there was no shot. Now, there is. That in and of itself is a real testament to how much the Fever has grown in such a short time. Barring any injuries (knock on wood), some decent refereeing, and some divine providence (others will call it luck), and I believe the Fever can go all the way. Win it? Slim chance. Make it to the finals. A better chance. Reminds me of Mahomes and KC. The Fever is a dynasty in the making. One thing for sure, if they’re in the finals, I’m paying whatever channel I need to to watch the game live. Would never even dream of watching a WNBA game before Caitlin Clark.

And this is HOW everyone get their piece of pie. Now everyone on the fever team got some attention. CC brings the change and the crowd but ultimately everyone else will get some love from the new crowd. That's why those veterans who looked down on CC at the beginning were so shortsighted and stupid. There was absolutely no benefit for anyone by shooting down CC. Don't feel pity, let her rises and bring bigger crowd if you were unable to do so. You have to understand it wasn't only her basketball that brings the crowd. It was also her interactions with people. For those veterans, ask yourselves how much social works/interactions you have done outside of the court. Got to give some credits to AB as well. I think she was the first to jump on CC's wagon. Although she is in her second year of WNBA, but she is only a month older than CC 😅. Just in a different calendar year. Now can you imagine playing on CC's team? You have an unselfish guard who can distribute the ball. Meanwhile she has the ability to shoot 3s and spread the parameter. This was the first thing I have seen from Steph Curry, not his 3s but the ability to spread the defense. I personally was much better playing 3x3 than a full court 5x5 game because I don't like running in. But when playing 3x3, it is much easier because of the space. Or I simply suck in basketball 😜.
