I've lived here for 3 years. We're fully aware we get overcharged for things. After a while you'll learn to not go with the first or second price, but unless the price is outrageous, we don't mind. It's a blessing to be able to live here, and helping the locals make a living and feed their families is worth the extra $1 or $2. You'll most likely never get the same price they charge each other, and that's okay. It's the name of the game.
