Hey friends in the comments. As you all probably know, blood pressure monitors are not as inexpensive as Tony has mentioned in the past before all this inflation started. However, Aldi grocery store is selling Welby blood pressure monitors for 24.99 right now. It's the pricier one with the arm cuff and batteries are included. It was a strange find, but I thought I would share for those of us on a tight budget.

Thanks Tony. Another great explanation of a very vague subject that can be very painful. It really takes work to go step by step and figure out what the best solutions are. I like that you give some natural solutions to help increase stomach acid like sea salt and apple cider vinegar.

I have had constant lower belly bulge and I'm skinny, for a few years. Tony says if it's there all the time, it's likely to be SIBO, but can low stomach acid cause it too, as I get indigestion and shortness of breath immediately after or during eating anything...I also poop small chunks a lot. I've been taking Betaine HCL for 3 years and it's still the same. I've had it for 9 years. I'm taking D-limonene to see if it helps, but not feeling any side effects from it, so maybe it's not working. Mastic Gum didn't work either I have trapped gas in the esophagus. Burping a lot.

Why would lemons (either fresh lemon juice or organic lemon zest/rind) make me bloat body wide? Within an hour of drinking lemon water, my face is puffy, and it's hard to get rings off my hands. I've heard of lemon (including the rind) having so many benefits, but it gives me a double chin and "moon face" quickly, then takes sometimes a whole day to go away. Hot weather does this to me too. Sorry, random question.
@KickItNaturally3 ай бұрын
That sounds more like a food senstivity issue or some type of citrus issue. This video could give you more insights: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXSwn6xqgcmbms0
@t-timewithartemis41743 ай бұрын
If I may offer some other things to consider, in addition to Tony's comment: It could be causing your body to draw water from your bloodstream into your tissues, which leads to the puff. Like opposite mechanism of how Tony explains too much Vitamin D can draw calcium out of the muscles into the bloodstream. Might be worth checking your blood pressure for the systolic number to see if your blood is thickening when this happens. Do you also get hot when you puff? This could be from vasodilation, or a histamine response (as Tony mentioned, a food sensitivity)- the body response with inflammation because it doesnt currently have the ability to handle it. The hot weather could be a separate mechanism that causes that, but if they're related (lemon and hot weather) I'd go with the drawing water into tissues hypothesis. Drawing water to tissue level will thin the blood, which is better for hot weather. Best of luck!

Hey there, I get some sort of reflux or silent reflux always about 1 hours after eating. Is it possible that it is low HCL even tho I already take Betain with ever meal. Maby it’s not enough?

In kick your fat in the nuts it says that when starting hcl dont eat starches because it might activate bacteria in the stomach causing acid reflux. Does that have to do with the HCL? Like will the HCL make things worse if you take it with starches?
@KickItNaturally3 ай бұрын
No, it's just an initial precaution when first starting because many people don't even know they have reflux until they add some acid in. This video explains more: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHe9c6mXZsaKick

I've always wondered why whenever I'm bloated, a hill on my abdomen always grows in the exact same place. But I digress. This video really came most conveniently. I've been taking supplements to help with bile flow for little over a month now. I'd love to try the beet flow you always suggest, but financial and practical reasons don't really allow for it. So I've been taking TUDCA and sunflower lecithin instead, which my mom says have helped her with the same problem. I want to ask one thing. I've been taking these two for a month now and I feel great after a meal. But a few days back, I've decided to double the dose, and suddenly I always feel sluggish, bloated, and weak, even tired, and I've got diarrhoea all the time. Now you've said before that temporary bad symptoms, especially when taking remedial supplements, may indicate a movement in the right direction, and that the symptoms are just signs of the body taking the residual rubbish out. But at the same time, I've read that the same symptoms may indicate that I'm taking an excessive amount of said supplements. Would you say there's a way for me to assess which one I'm dealing with? Because I don't mind enduring a little discomfort if I know it's for my own good. But if I'm not sure whether it's doing me a service or a disservice, I'd rather feel great than feel like bowel movement. I should also like to add that I am taking HCL alongside the two, so it may also be the dosing and combining of them that's the culprit.
@KickItNaturally3 ай бұрын
You could watch any numbers or symptoms that can go along with what you're trying to improve. But we never use sunflower lecithin so don't know what to expect there, and we only use tudca to replace bile if someone has lost their gallbladder. We don't use it to thin bile.
