Tough to ignore the 4 posts Edmonton hit this game, and the tough call on Nurse that gave Van the PP that they then converted on. I know these things go both ways, but Edmonton dominated them for 65% of the game, but couldn't catch much of a break.

Edmonton has an elite team that the Canucks can only hope to be in the same league with. The line of McDavid, Hyman and Draisaitl will completely overrun any line the Canucks try to throw at them until they need to make a line change for Edmonton's incredible and unmatched depth on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th lines. Add in Skinner's ungodly .793 save percentage and his uncanny ability to make the key save at critical moments, Vancouver has no chance. Edmonton Maple Leafs will be 2024 Stanley Mug champs.

They spam one group of players for like half the game. So of course they will dominate in the short term. In the long term that is not how you will win a Stanley cup. Beating the Vancouver Canucks isn't the incredible feat they seem to think it is.

The canucks are great at making the most of their chances. They are able to score goals in quick succession even when they get outshot. Its been this way for years now. They managed to take Vegas to 7 games despite being badly outshot.

This is a crazy stat. The best sv% that the Oilers have needed in any of the three games this series to win is .875. If they literally had SLIGHTLY BELOW AVERAGE goaltending they would be up 3-0. Skinner has a .796 and he is looking like the statistical worst cap era playoff goalie ever. Also the entire 3rd line needs to be held accountable.
