@@SceloThusi-fn7rd Chinese people don't need to go to Africa to see wealth. For example, there's a Chinese blogger that was in Madagascar, and he filmed himself fishing and enjoying a simple meal with the locals. What we value in seeing is genuine friendship and bond between our peoples. Trust me when I say this - many of us know what it's like to be dirt poor. We were poorer than many African countries not long ago.

what you are saying about the importance of media is correct. I am an American, just got back from South Africa, Zim and botswana...I really enjoyed myself, but there were things that I was really ignorant about...I was willing to learn though...but not everyone wants pay a couple thousand for a flights...so they watch tv and have the stories cherry picked for them...but on the side, people thought I had to dodge bullets while leaving my home and that I live in the ghetto in the United States...so this media imbalance tends to affect blacks the world over.

I love thats she's asking. As she wants to know, it is lovely to have genuine, kind hearted converations, with those who want to hear it from the source. As just searching it up won't help where they are as the media is controlled like a lot of other places in the world. Then she can tell others too. Even if the questions seem silly, it doesn't matter as it can put a positive imagine in the mind. ❤
@keturahleecoulibaly92677 ай бұрын
@Jazz-fg2dm that is also true. Its not about changing opinions though. It's just about stating facts really and letting others talk to real people and not just get one side of the story as it builds ignorance. It's good to talk, not to convince. For the matter of the continent and it's people. They need to come together and ignore what other people say and just do what they need to do. I may not be born on the continent but if I was, that's deffo what I would look to do.

It seems like a very interesting & good conversation. We all must educate each other. I was in Beijing w/ a personal tour guide & she took me to a Chinese restaurant only Chinese goes not tourist. Later, a group of Chinese women kept asking my guide where I was from & they kept saying Africa & I kept saying America 🇺🇸. It’s funny how they think 🤔 only white Americans can be American not knowing of how Black Americans built America from the foundation & later other cultures like the Irish, Italian, Greeks built on top of that foundation. It was just odd they know nothing about Black American history & culture. However, I loved Beijing over Hong Kong 🇭🇰 which is too cluttered it reminded me of NYC. I’ll return in the future bc Beijing has sooo many beautiful mountains I didn’t get a chance to go. I only did the Great Wall of China etc
