Generally speaking I think its more true that women find you rather than the other way around. Specifically if a girl is not giving you opportunity to speak with her etc. she is not interested so dont bother and if you're going to make an opportunity to speak to a girl remember the two important rules 1. Be attractive, 2. Don't be unattractive. So in light of that just try be your best version of yourself go to church and worship God, spend time with family (assuming its worth it for you), make friends (both men and women, whoever respects you), try figure out your health, develop yourself (spiritually, physically and mentally/skills/career) and just enjoy yourself or follow whatever calling God impresses on you. If you do all that maybe (sadly only maybe) there will be a woman who takes notice and tries see if you got what it takes. If women are too picky or want a bad boy etc. or just are walking red flags there isn't really an actionable solution. Pray obviously but I cant give you a plan or realistic expectation. Especially when in all likelihood not succeeding with girls is a negative feedback loop as people judge you more and more for various things because you're not already a winner. And to be clear I don't think for a majority of men especially young that its their fault for being on their own in today's world. On women's side it seems to me that Christian women are liable to expect too much from men as secular women do by virtue of seeing them on social media etc. (if God gives that 304 online 'chad' I get one too right?) and maybe not being so virgin. For everything else like trying to build friendship groups, the world is especially bad for everyone. Bad money etc. is making everyone perpetually poorer so they have less to give to church, less time for friends and charity etc. For young men especially this impoverishment bites you in less economic development (especially of a meritocratic variety...) to give upward mobility and that just pushes men's lives far too back to do well in dating and everything else.

As a Christian girl, it's definitely really hard finding a guy who doesnt idolize relationships, and it's the same with finding female friends. I want people who are willing to chase God with me and a man who will lead that. I think a lot of people now though believe that having a relationship will fulfill them, heal them and make them happy. While a relationship does partly do that it doesnt fully since we are made whole by God. Relationships are hard and if you cant even maintain and stay faithful to your relationship with Jesus how will you manage one with a person who isnt perfect?

As a girl, I’m just gonna say this: Christian girls want a guy who will initiate a relationship, they want someone to pursue them, someone they can respect. So if you mean waiting until you find the right girl, that’s good, but if you think you found her don’t wait! (I know it’s not that easy, but don’t expect her to take the first step)

I'm an older married woman. I heavily recommend talking in depth about the theology that is important to you and going to church together before you get married. You can be from the same denomination but one might not be interested in actually practicing the faith. Also, date to marry. Be upfront about your intentions. This time in our history is not the time to be silent about this. If any of you have questions I will do my best to answer if you have no one else to talk to.
@Frank-jv9eh4 күн бұрын
Every now and then I’ll come across theology nerd guys on the internet who say they really like a girl, but she’s non-denominational, acting like it’s a dealbreaker. I know some guys who are these traditional magisterial Protestant types and when they met their wife she was going to a non-denominational church. You would think this would be a problem but if the woman really cares about her faith, she will want to learn about the nerdy theology the guy knows. My grandmother doesn’t know that much nerdy theology but she is the best Christian I know. I’m 99% sure she wasn’t Presbyterian when she met my grandfather. Seeing her faith made me want to study nerdy Theology and grow in my faith, even though she isn’t a nerd like me. It’s always been the case that women are less interested in Theology than men, but it’s only a problem if they roll their eyes at it or never want to talk about it, which usually means their faith is lukewarm.
@nerychristian3 күн бұрын
@@chiukid It's true. Most relationship issues would be solved if people were just upfront with what they are looking for in a relationship. Sometimes it's not easy talking about difficult topics on a first date. But it's important to find out if the other person is looking for the same thing. Even talking about whether they want children is important

I'm still too young to have a girlfriend because I'm not 18, but here's what I look for. -A Christian -loves the Roman empire -Presents the same good morals to me, her friends, her parents, random people she meets. Consistent. - being genuinely interested in interesting things. (Hopefully, God is the main one of those.) and showing that same interest in you. -You are genuinely attracted to her. But not just for gross reasons. -She respects herself and her body, her parents, assuming they are good, and she shows that same respect to all that God deems good. -lastly, she is a supralapsearian, postmillennial, Calvinist Baptist, who wants to have ten kids, a farm, and rule the world! That last one might be a bit unrealistic. But I just want her not to be a dispansational rapture believer. We can work on the rest.

Genuine question, how do I (as a Christian girl) get a better relationship with my father? For context, my dad is not a Christian (and he consistently mocks God) and my parents are divorced. I only see him on some weekends and once a week for dinner. I love him, but it’s difficult to agree on anything. I also pray for him to one day accept Jesus into his heart. I try to show him the love that God has for him through me, but I’m a 16 year old girl, and it feels like an impossible task to “parent my own parent”. I have a great relationship with my mom though! As a girl (yes, we do sometimes exist on here)- If the girl says no, please please, please respect that. Some of us just have other priorities than matrimony and motherhood right now. Most Christian guys I've met are great about taking no for an answer. Some are not. Some are just oblivious. Same for unsolicited matchmaking. Just take the no and move on. Most of the time it isn't personal and when it is, we've got our own reasons not to go through that conversation. It will be uncomfortable for safety to do that in private, and socially uncomfortable in public. Some of us have learned the hard way about "no" being ignored. I can't make you respect it more, but I can absolutely make sure you or your matchmaker regret the day you ever thought this was a good idea. Take the no the first time, please, for the good of us all. Or at least give me more warning so I can figure out how best to drive you off. If you persist anyway, you're going to 1) possibly miss out on a girl who's actually interested and/or 2) only annoy your sister in Christ. If we were interested in the future, we just would tell you. Or more realistically, we would let it slip once and after 20 layers of not-gossip by our not-busybodies, someone else would tell you. If we are mentally fit for a relationship, we will change our minds only because we actually agree. A girl that gives up every opinion for you is a huge red flag. If that means you disagree with my hair cut, my piercings, or my tattoo/hair dye ambitions, just save your breath and move on. I'm not the girl for you and that's okay. If we change our identities everytime a guy's interested, you're probably looking at a lot of unmanaged trauma (soon to be YOUR problem!) or other mental issues, possibly quite severe. Some churches ignore any kind of mental health; don't expect a warning label. And make sure to take your time getting married if you do stay in the relationship. Alternatively, we're uninformed on the matter and our minds will likely change again when we hear the other side. I understand this video is aimed at people interested in a relationship. With that said, I see a lot of boys setting themselves up for failure. If you're going to fall in love with every XX human with a pulse, that's really not fair to either of you. Please, don't do that to yourself. Everyone involved here is worth more than a broken heart.

Hey. I’m a guy and i have a wonderful girlfriend and we have been dating for many years. She is an atheist and doesn’t not like religion but rather can’t get her head around it. She is severely autistic and I am trying quite hard to convert her (i bring up religion often and talk to about it. I’m not over here forcing her). I genuinely love this girl and she wants nothing more than to have a family and be a mother. She (somewhat unknowingly) has adopted my Christian values. You should never go into a relationship thinking you will change the person. It will always end up badly. We can't change people. If you can't fathom the idea of marrying her and having her remain the same person, then you shouldn't be with her. You are wasting not only your own time, but her's as well. Do not marry her or continue with her. You've already been dating her for several years? And she still hasn't become a Christian? That's a red flag. Time to move on. There are other women in the world. Unfortunately your emotions clouded your judgement. You will have to break up with her, and it will be messy, and you will feel terrible. But it's the right thing to do. You should have known better. Remember, a good woman will allow her man to lead, in all aspects of life, including the religious aspects.
