I can separate the Bill Cosby scandal from the show because the family was called the Huxtables (not the Cosbys). That show was iconic, classy, down to earth and showed what black American families can and should be like. Clair Huxtable was like my mom. My mom actually met Phylicia Rashad and Debbie Allen (her sister).
