KEY observation: Geno sacked 19 times in last four games! Someone observed he'd been sacked 40 times this year. Do the math: 19/4 and 21/8. Its getting worse! Oline couldn't protect foxes from chickens. That Geno is still healthy is a miracle. That he is positive and shows up and still tries his best is absolutely being a WARRIOR.

i completly disagree with how you talk about devon witherspoon, because witherspoon has made a huge leap from last year and has been an absolute monster forus . first of all there is far more than just stats and ints for a cornerback , second its harder to get picks when you are the nickle corneback most of the time . 3 spoon is the leader of our defense and makes the rest of the players on the team play better 4 spoon is all over the place whether its blocking for our players to score or making a big tackle ,and he makes a ton of tackles and spoon has 30 more tackles than woolen and many of those tackles are stopping first down coversions. 5 like i said there is way more to thjis than just stats and made a giant leap and in no way is close to a sophmore slump because he be contending for a pro bowl spot this year

I never felt like Geno was the guy. I would never say he sucks. The Offensive line has been a problem for several years. Something even Russell Wilson dealt with his last 3 or 4 seasons with the team. I would rank the Hawks in the middle. Not the best & not the worst.

Lots of talent at offensive skill positions is only getting middling scoring numbers. Running game should be much more dependable. OL gets most blame, Geno is good, and a good guy. We may have a higher floor with him, but his ceiling is limited. We have pieces if we can keep them, but barring lightning in a bottle, might be a cpl drafts away from true contenders. It is unlikely it will be Geno then, so we need to get a plan cooking.

We have zero run game. Dave repeatedly shown they can't get one yard when they need it, they can't even get a half a yard when they need it. Is Gino supposed to block for that? Are average pressure time in past protection is 1.5 seconds. Meaning when the quarterback hits his back foot in the drop he already has to bring his eyes down and dodge somebody. If that's not the OL then who is it ?

Agree with your comments about Witherspoon. He's a quality player who helps set a LOB-type attitude for the defence, but he's not a shut-down corner like Sauce... Don't know anything about Cowherd or any of the other sports blowhards, but Geno has the same int/td ratio as his back up and that's cause Geno is a back up and personally it isn't fair to not have a true first string QB and for that matter a true first string protection, including the run. It's not fair for the recievers and the runners and the defense, who are pouring their hearts out trying to win inspite all the 3 and outs and the setbacks. By almost every metric we have the worst or second worst offensive line in the league depending on the game. You can't be a top 10 team in the league and have any positional group be the worst in the league.
