I am afraid of not having enough money and I don't want to have to do a side hustle or figure out how to pay bills. I have seen people on youtube attempt to be self-sufficient only to fail. I think it's great that they at least tried, I just don't have that type of confidence yet. I am working on it and hope to take a leap sooner than later. But this is an important conversation to have so thank you for pushing me forward in overcoming my fears.

Being an introvert, mine is not connecting with anyone at my new destination. I’m pretty sure you’d say, “Find community &/or build community.” I can do that, and hopefully that would include some local friends too. Great vlog. Had me thinking thru a lot of scenarios.

Mexico is a Catholic country. Yes, people dress more conservatively.... esp the woman. Consider the religion of the country you go to. And, "read the room". Notice how other people are dressed and use that as a guide. You do not want to insult the people of the country you are a guest in.

Good stuff Adalia. This video needs to be shared over and over again with anyone traveling in and outside of the U.S. My primary concern traveling abroad is not being able to access my money. I've been hearing stories of banks here and in Canada putting holds on accounts for no valid reason. Could you do a video about this (having access to/transferring large sums of money, like for rent, etc.? Thank you for your ministry ☺
