I don’t think you even realize the impacted your video just made in my life! I have been fasting and praying for God to help me get a grip on homeschooling. As my kids are wanting to fight me every step of the way. Frustration was getting the best of me. And comparison was slowly chipping away at my relationship with my kids. You are truly an answer to my praying. God is a provider and always had been… this time it was using you to fill my heart with things it needed to hear and realign my priorities. The enemy will not WIN nor will he take away this precious moments I have with my kids. ❤

It's almost 3 am, and as I sat here arguing with my husband about speaking to me in demeaning ways and not being to go to him for help, I scrolled and God brought this video on my screen. I listened to you speak with such love and passion for you children, and I cried. I homeschool 3 kids without my husband's help, and I was asking God for help because I felt stuck. I don't know your name, but thank you for giving me enlightenment, and for reminding me that God trusts me with my children, and is here to help me raise them to bring Him glory. I still feel like crying because I feel encouraged now!! So thank you, for all your passion...your love expressed in your videos, and for letting the Holy Spirit speak through you right to my soul!! Blessings upon you and your family!! Nat

Thank you so much Nat! I get the struggle, for sure. One of the most common responses I’ve received from women is how there is some sort of tension between their husband and the home school. Whether it be obedience, mess, education in general, ability- it’s common. I say that not to justify it, but to reassure you that you are not alone. And if God is your foundation, your reason, your purpose, you can’t go wrong. May God strengthen your relationship with it all from the kids to the husband to the school- you got this! And if in times you don’t, rest assured that God does 🙏🏼🥰

Dear Nat, I can relate to you on arguing with my husband, trying to get him not to talk to me in a demeaning way. I just wanted to say, after trying to leave my husband and my entire life falling apart, being in this less than ideal relationship is MUCH BETTER than the stress of going through a divorce. I am determined to make things work, even if my husband never changes. If you watch Paul Jenkins, on Live On Purpose, I am confident it would be a blessing to you!!❤️

As a homeschooling mama of 11 years (we’ve been homeschooling since my oldest who is now 16 was in kindergarten.) This is truly the most beautiful, Christ centered video I have ever listened to pertaining to homeschooling, teaching, admonishing and loving our children right where they are at! Thank you for taking the time to approach this subject in the way you did; the most important way! I couldn’t agree with you more! As we are preparing for a new year ahead, I’ll have a junior, an 8th grader, a 5th grader and a 1 year old in tow, your words have encouraged my heart deeply! There is such wisdom in your words, and a peace that transpires as you speak that I know can only come from the Holy Spirit and your beautiful love for Christ! Thank you for all that you shared! I’ll be sure to pass this along to some of my close friends who also homeschool their kiddos! Blessings to you and your precious family!

I was sitting here scrambling on finding a curriculum for my three school aged children. I took them out of public school, with no planning/ notice . (It was just the way God showed me through events) and as I’m sitting here hoping this video would solve everything…it did but not in the way the I expected it to. You just brought me down from 100 to 0. I’m so calm and relaxed now, because this is all that I needed to hear. I took them out of public school for all the reasons stated, and that should be the focus. Wow wow wow…thank you ! I’ve been studying Proverbs and this for me ties into it a lot. ❤❤

This is awesome! About three years ago we made the last minute choice to pull our children from public schools with no plan on how to approach homeschooling. We started with an online curriculum but fazed out of that the next year. I have seen my children's behaviors change so much from homeschooling. They are more polite and a lot more creative. I now focus on 4 main subjects, reading writing, math and social studies and the rest of the day is for learning morals ans life skills. That's all they really need. You got this.

I have homeschooled my son for 6 years total(including K) and allowed him to go to public school(2nd-6th) for 6 years total(he repeated 3rd grade). He is 16 now and is about to start 11th grade. What you have shared is what I've been missing! Had I heard this sooner I may have never allowed him to go to public school, as it was more damaging than good for him both educationally and spiritually and did harm to his relationship with both me and his dad. Thank you, thank you for this video, which I personally believe was spirit led, I will be doing this with my son for his last two years and with my 3 year old when he goes through school. I pray God continues to bless you and your family with His Grace that empowers growth and change, His peace that passes understanding and His love that is never failing.

Sweet woman, watching this video was just what I needed to hear this week. You remind me so much of myself at the beginning of our homeschool journey. I had only 1 school aged child then and also had read countless books on homeschooling. I had read teaching the trivium and was convinced that was the right way, until the Lord convicted me while reading "educating the whole hearted child" by Clay and Sally Clarkson that I was missing the whole point. Our homeschool shifted after that conviction from rigorous facts and figures to a gentle exposure w an emphasis on Christ, love, family, and time in nature. That journey began in 2010. I now have 7 school aged children and my oldest will be 18 in October. He wants to go to trade school and Ive found my self panicking as we've realized he's not the best speller and needs to brush up on his math. Ive spent this past week questioning if my methods were correct. Have I done a diservice to him? Should I change this now while my remaining school aged kids are 16, 15, 12,11,10, and 7? However, just last night the Lord comforted me by a conversation with my oldest child and again here w your video. While chatting w him about his future last night, he told me that he has "loved his childhood" and has "an excellent family". That he loves to learn and always will. When I asked him if he felt jipped in his education he told me he feels fullfilled and is entering the world better off than most because he already has wisdom, since he already fears the Lord. And not to worry about his math because he'll study it further on his own to prepare for electrician school. Will he be a Harvard graduate? No. Will he be a scientist? No. And he couldnt tell you the newest trending pop star or even name one of the Kardashians. But he is a God fearing, Jesus loving, honorable young man who will work hard w his hands for a living. Thank you so much for this encouraging video. I hope sharing my experience from the " end" point of this journey, encourages you as well. And I will continue to homeschool my remaining 6 children this way. I hope you find joy and see much fruit in your homeschool journey, too. Praying for your family, sweet girl. ❤

I love hearing from experienced moms, what encouragement, thank you! Also about a trade school- that’s the way to go to be honest!!! Technology is replacing so many computer-based occupations No one wants to get up and work And starting at this young he’ll have a very successful outcome. My dad grew with the trade and as his body aged he was already a foreman and didn’t climb poles anymore (lineman) And with God leading the way it couldn’t get any better! Love your video and thanks for posting for all us HS'ers to see. Been stressed thru many years of HS my kids, 16 years so far. This year I'm the most relaxed ever, talking to others who are dipping their toes into un-schooling, which gave me a sense of "learning is everywhere". Many of your points fit that mindset when Christianity is in play. Got 2 years left and my mission is "Relax, they learn even when we are just doing regular stuff together." I'm using curriculum but our faith and understanding God's word is first...

This was so timely! After arguing with the Holy Spirit, then studying the Lord's Word and hearing an excellent message on the Crucible of Fellowship, and finally a word of encouragement from my pastor, I finally opened my home to host the biweekly play group at church. It's gonna totally screw up my perfect homeschool schedule. It's gonna make for more housework. I'll have to budget differently for groceries every two weeks. But homeschool is about so much more than curriculum and planning and school books and To Do's. It's about nurturing sacrificial love in our home and around our table.

When homeschooling my eldest child, I poured my whole heart, time, energy, resources and finances into cultivating the ideal homeschool framework to follow. Year after year, I stayed up late each night to research, refine, revisit various learning philosphies and curriculum approaches. I was fixated on finding 'the perfecf" seeds to plant in my child's garden that would benefit his future self Sadly, my Son passed away after his very brave battle with brain cancer. If I could start his homeschooling journey again, I would start with our Bible. And agree to stop for an ice cream cones.

YES!!! I have always had this mind set and got ridiculed and laughed at for years. I was a teen mom, 6 children who chose a more "old fashioned" way of living for my family. Ever since I was little I just wanted to be a mother. I had kids young once I found my husband, which was a lot of push back from society. Chose to homeschool and not let my children be raised by others. This is literally like a breath of fresh air because there was always that little devilish voice in the back of my head; "Am I crazy for thinking this way?..."Am I dumb?"... This is a testament to stay true to my morals and values and although it may not be everyone's cup of tea... Wow so awesome I came across this video! By the way, you're beautiful! Thank you. Just, thank you. I really needed this. I have been pulled into everything and on top of that teaching online as well as home schooling. I have been very stressed, and I love this. I have not been choosing my beautiful children first. I let my frustration get to me. When I know in those moments I need to pray. I have been feeling so guilty about this. So, thank you so much! I definitely keep my home Christ centered in all things. But I know that an area I need to work on is my patience and being more attentive to my beautiful babies.

I can’t put into words the amount of my walk with God in Christ and as a parent and mother you just explained and summed up in one video. You said everything God has pointed me to do in raising my kids, and I’m not always the best at it and I needed this video dearly. God spoke through you to me, one of the things he told me about a year ago was to “win my son’s heart” and I don’t want to fail at that. Beautiful, powerful word! That was so refreshing to hear. It's a welcome reminder. I have already graduated two children that have been homeschooled from the beginning. I have four more that I am actively homeschooling. I am MUCH more relaxed about homeschooling now than I was when I first started. In the beginning, I felt like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders, but now I realize that the only pressure that I was feeling was my own. My oldest two children still love to learn. They both amaze me with their diligence to study on their own. My oldest daughter pursues digital art and animation with daily discipline, and my oldest son works full-time and then comes home to study for his Private Pilot's License. Bless you, for comforting all the homeschooling mamas.

@@voc7394 Hey! I sure can. At first, I was using a lot of ACE (Also called “School of Tomorrow”) but came into some issues as the grades became more advanced. Specifically with the Math portion. So, now I use The Good and the Beautiful Language Arts, Saxon Math, and then KZbin for learning all about the world and the things in it for Science and Social Studies. I do this because watching interesting videos about topics was much more interesting for my children then reading about them in a book with a couple of pictures. The videos make all the topics come alive. We learn about other countries, animals, astronomy, history and countless other things via KZbin. Also, if the kids ever have a question such as, “How do they decaffeinate coffee?” I just add that to the list of topics we will find and watch on KZbin. Lastly, I use part of the ACE Kindergarten curriculum to teach my kids the alphabet sounds and then use the “Teach my child to read in 100 easy lessons” to have them up and reading without much effort. I hope this helps. ☺️☺️

Totally agree. I didn’t know how to quit put it in words. I knew my daughter came into this world as person she was going to be already, like there is no mistaking that. Her personality is so strong. I’m so glad I click your channel. Very helpful in explaining things. To help others understand my boundaries and why I won’t allow BS (belief systems) around me. Especially talking over my child. We are definitely learning Christ here in my house. I’ll say im no longer of the traditional church style I was raised as a child and into my adulthood to be. We are teaching Christ as one of the ascended masters, who was one of the greatest healers to ever walk this planet. But his mother was a great being as well. For without her Jesus could have not came as the soul he did. So how we react is very important. It’s also why we have repeating patterns in our lives. Lessons have not been learned yet. How we react is so key to transmuting those patterns in our lives. Because we haven’t realized that it’s happening for us and not to us. So love being the key to change anything. We all been sold this idea that there isn’t enough for everyone to be in abundance on this planet, that it’s just enough to survive to day to day and that our enemies (our neighbors) want to take our freedom from us and we must go fight other countries, persons in order to survive. And that we can’t be friends with other countries and their religion is not of the western’s religion. Causing even greater division. and that America thinking is correct and everyone else’s thinking is wrong, etc, etc. but that’s not so. Abundance is for all, and all can thrive! Sorry, I got way off topic here. Our reaction and non reaction is very important. We are adjusting our minds more of What would love do? How would love react? Because everything comes through the mind’s nature. Right thinking and right desires. But the inner terrain has a big pull on our thinking as well and our reactions. Endocrine systems is very important. I no longer eat 90 percent of the grocery store’s food and products. I’ve learned the importance of spring water, and what happens when our bodies pH goes below what it supposed to be. Dis-ease comes from within. Why throwing out your table salt is so very important. Structured water is vital to our ability to transmute the old thinking and the many generations of indoctrination we have been apart of. If certain systems are running in a person, it makes it hard for that being to see truth in why homeschooling is so very important. The illusion is pulling them. And I may not be saying it completely right. I do apologize. I do like how you express that other’s people “what we should be do” isn’t good (comparison) and we should keep from that kind of thinking. Because it causes many unhealthy reaction. The major thing is not to judge and don’t take it personally when others are in lower frequencies of mind and still believe the many illusions that the narratives broadcasting. But to send them love and light, like praying for them. We need more of the future of community to come into the present. It’s about community for family and raising a child. Eating off the land and the kids learning from the nature. Everything is in the nature. The highest knowledge can be attained from nature. It’s beautiful. But as a single mom who just started homeschooling and huge healing taking place. Which isn’t always pretty. Purification can be ugly sometimes. Especially when shifting the mind. I still have a lot of work to do on inner self. . But awareness is first process. Letting go of my attachments, desires, all those did was keep me from the present, and in a state of always doing. I found that being in the present is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to self teach myself. I’m 38 years old and my parents were big reactors, never fully present. But that powers that be wanted to keep us busy, so I have greatly shifted my childhood perspective of how I was raised and allowed in more love and light, forgiveness and love for my parents by shifting my thinking. I have a request please? Could you do a video on the intellect mind vs the intelligence mind. I know you say you research deep. And I don’t doubt that. But google is one big system that has truth and facts along with false and misleading information and Sometimes in the same article. lol 😂 Buddhi, manas, and ahankara.

Well this is the very first video I clicked on to see about home school curriculum. I wasn't expecting it to point me to the Lord. ....I have been asking God if I should send my kids to public school which I was leaning towards. Then I had a dream that a woman opened her truck of her car she had home school curriculum then a voice behind me said buy it and file for an affidavit to do a private school because you will regret putting your kids in public school. In the dream I looked and saw my kids were doing things that they were too young for and Chaos was happening at the school that they were attending my husband and I tried to get them and they would not let us I woke up from the nightmare. And I think God was telling me to home school. Them so now I'm looking into buying a curriculum. This was a very encouraging video I thank you for being bold and pointing this to the king.
