Amanda Lewis was 17 when she had her first child, a son named Alex. When he was 16 months old he stopped breathing while taking a nap. The autopsy concluded he died of a seizure disorder. But when Lewis’ second child, 7-year-old Adrianna, was pronounced dead after drowning in a 4-foot deep above-ground pool, an investigation ensued. Her third child AJ, then 5 years old, told police he saw his mother “dunking” Adrianna in the pool as a form of punishment for being bad. AJ testified in front of his mother at her trial. Although the little boy contradicted himself a number of times while on the stand, Lewis was found guilty of first-degree murder and is serving a life sentence in jail. Lewis will be featured on the docu-series Killer Women with Piers Morgan who says, “So now she [Lewis] has lost three children in different ways.”

I don't really know for sure who to blame for this but I'm leaning more towards the moms because- 1. When police went through their house, they saw how filthy it was and how it smelled like urine. The mom said she was cleaning up the house to go school supply shopping before Adriana drowned but the house was disgusting af (and who cleans up the house before they go school supply shopping? That just seemed really odd to me) 2. The mom actually had a baby before all of this but it died from a "seizure" which is very sus now that you think about it- 3. Police saw that there was no toys in their house (which was a sign of negligence) and the mom lied saying that she put all of their toys in the shed as "punishment" but when police checked, there were no toys at all. 4. Adriana had ADHD and the mom had a really short temper with her. Witnesses say that once they heard the mom say "I could almost kill her" when she did something bad ig- (which I know a lot of parents use that phrase but it's not really helping her case-) 5. A doctor was telling the mom about Adriana's condition and then they asked "Do you have any questions?" and her ass goes "Where's the vending machine?" *I got all of this evidence from Kendall Rae's video*

@marielpare82904 жыл бұрын
I remember seeing a news story almost 20 years ago, where an elderly man and his wife were watching their neighbor’s two children (a 1 and 4 year old), and the 1 year old suddenly stopped breathing. On the 911 call, he and his wife are trying to do CPR, and they’re even following instructions to do the infant Heimlich maneuver, anything. It was basically ruled to be SIDS related because the autopsy came back with nothing outstanding. But they brought the guy to trial later because the 4 year old said “Mommy he was hitting him on the back” and his mom rolled with it and thought “he must have beat my son to death”. The way the little boy testified (in a separate room with an interviewer but on a webcam to the court room), he mimicked how the old man “hit” his brother, and it was how someone does the heimlich on an infant. You strike the back with the heel of your palm. The guy wasn’t convicted, but the baby’s family was still convinced that he got away with murder. I don’t know what happened with Adrianna’s death. I hope AJ didn’t see something and misconstrue it. But at the same time, I don’t know if I would feel better if he DID see something bad after all.
@KatiesArabVision Жыл бұрын
He used the word dunk several times and said she was screaming. I don’t know how you can misconstrue that with the cpr thing. The mom could have easily removed the child from the pool if she accidentally fell in and was screaming. If the mom was there, the girl was screaming that means the girl was still alive when the mom was by the pool. So how is the little girl dead? The children also had no toys other than a few toys out back. Very strange behavior and the doctor noticed the mom was detached non emotional directly after .

There is a lot left out of this video. Investigators believe that the children were at least neglected if not abused. The house was a disaster and not fit for children. Add this to the fact that this woman had another little girl who died suspiciously as a toddler and I honestly believe she did it.

Why do you "believe"that she,now,killed both Daughters? Is there proof? Do we have right of pass to condemn people as if we have no wrong in our selfs too.esp when we have no idea who,what ,when,where,how,and why?.And before I'm condimed my self,know that I take no sides. I mean,we as Americans have no excuses for any complaining and finger pointing,, this country is a joke and so is our Judicial system,. There are millions locked up that are truly innocent. But there are also murders that run free in our streets. So if you wanna talk "Condemnation " Lets talk about 7 million Cherokees,Navajos,etc murdered so "We the people" could do as we pleased. And you clearly see what our punishment shall be soon. That uneasy feeling in your gut is your biological clock telling you Times up for Americans. Jesus is the only way to peace. So pray,look to the east,cause our Redemption is drawing near. Amen. Just love and forgive, as so he has done for us as well. Amen.

Here's what I don't get. People are defending her on the basis of her frantic 911 call. But she's a nurse. Wouldn't she know to perform CPR or whatever instead of asking a dispatch officer to tell her what to do? I don't know if she's innocent or not but I'm just wondering that.
@avl80593 жыл бұрын
I agree, she was a nurse's assistant but would still know CPR. And there was no need for the police to coach the boy into saying anything about her as they were like 'case closed', she obviously fell in the pool and hit her head. Also the girl was a lot taller than the pool and quite able to stand up if needed.

I heard AJ told over 20 different story's of what happened that day but the police focused on the one the mum did it one and prised him when her told this story . One time he said when it happened he was up a tree and couldn't see . I think he was coached Ashe wasn't aware of the damage he was doing to his mother. . This is so sad and I really believe the mother didn't. Do this. She has been fighting to get out of prison to be with her son and they didn't even tell her they had adopted him out. She had to find out from a person interviewing her.

@daphne101208 жыл бұрын
A six year old is not capable of killing his older sister. Nor is it his job to supervise a sibling. The child's death is the fault of the parent if not for the reason to believe that the mom might have killed the girl but it is her fault because she should have been supervising better. Who knows if she did or didn't. But this six year old isn't guilty of anything. He could have been coached or he really did see something, but you cannot blame a kindergartner for the death of another child.

Mother says about her daughter: "She was an attention seeker". "She looked like me, acted like me.. it was like she was my walking shadow". Psychologist asks: And how do you feel about yourself and in what was do you seek attention? 😬 other red flags: •mom doesn't shed a tear in this interview especially when asked by the interviewer about what she thought when she saw the daughter in the pool.. she non-chalantly said "oh-my-god 😑". Didn't even show emotion or care. 2. Talked crap about the daughter but talked so highly about the son 3. No emotion about the death of her daughter. good parents bawl their eyes out. not this psychopathic bitch 4. If you watch the little boy's testimony, he said the mom dragged the wagon over to the pool. he said that the mom said for Adriana to go clean the bugs out of the pool. that means the mom set her daughter up to make it look like she died on her own. at the end when she said, "I feel like my son was coached" her lips get real stiff when she said that. the bitch was lying...

I watched the entire thing on their website, I first thought the mom is not guilty and his granpa was indeed coaching him I watched a second time and the body language was interesting. AJ did seem like he witness the crime but gave 13 different statements. When the lawyer asked AJ if his mom drowned her sister, he would look at his mom for a split second and say no. I tried looking at his mom's facial micro expressions and they were pretty suspicious when asked certain questions. I think his mom did indeed kill her sister, but was coached by his mom to give different stories to fool the juries. She did serve for the national guard, so having a poker face is probably normal or required of her.

I think the testamony was way too long the child was very very tired of answering questions and the questions were misleading and confusing and testing. I think he saw something and may have misinterpreted it, pulling his sister from the water and tring to get her breathing, etc.

He and his sister we’re playing by the pool disobeying their mom, his sister tragically was killed. He understands what getting into trouble means and is making up a story. He’s probably learned to do that from his sister. Unfortunately telling stories is probably something the often did to stay out of trouble. He has too many stories in regards to what happened that day. I really don’t think mom drowned her. This little boy will grow up having to deal with all this very unfortunate. He will need a lot of therapy so he doesn’t develop more serious mental health issues.
@lisakettelkamp6234 Жыл бұрын
This is why it’s so important to teach your children to always tell the truth. And that punishment is less or none if they tell the truth. Punishment or consequences doesn’t always have to be harsh… it can be learning or conversations. Children fearful often become storytellers out of fear of harsher consequences.

This is my opinion Amanda should have gotten a entire new trial. That coroner was fired and left town during that trial.. He had prior botched coroner reports. I think twisted things to help prosecution. She past the lie detector test.. She was on the phone when her son came in and told her the sister was in the pool. I think it was accidental drowning.. The lady that specialized in talking to children said he told 13 different stories.. Amanda's step dad hated her. He worked on that kid right from the start of it.. Amanda's mother was a witness for the prosecution..But later regretted it and said she thought Amanda's step dad did plant the idea in the little boys head.. I think Amanda never got a mother's love ... But I think she tried her best with 2 kids that wet to bed..and the little girls hyper and add etc. She was cleaning house that day. Other reports said the kids sheets was in the dryer. I think Amanda did NOT get a fair trial..

Whether she did it or not (I'm leaning more that she did but not 100% certain) I think we can all agree that it was complete negligence on her part regardless. She already lost a toddler before all this to SIDs supposedly. I know this much, if I had already experienced the loss of one child, I would definitely do everything in my power to make sure nothing happened to my other kids. Why wasn't she watching them? Her house was a mess and didn't have toys in it but she claimed she cleaned it that day? Bruises on the little girls face and the fact that she was tall enough to be able to stand in the pool without drowning. There's just too many questions on her part that makes her suspect.
