Nice job on the shed. I had a 826 and sold it and bought a 986 and I miss the 826 it was a good handling tractor and it was pulling 120 on the Dyno and it never gave any trouble. I still have a 1066 mine has the 2 post with the canopy. I'll never get rid of it as it is my go to. Good luck with your decision. They are both good tractors. The 1066 is easier to get injection pumps and injectors for. Both look nice especially the 1066. If it was mine I'd put a muffler back on it for your hearing as I had to on mine.

I would get the 1066. It looks like a nice tractor. A cab with Ac and heat is great. If you ever mowed over a yellow jackets nest you would wish you had a cab, lol. I did with my 886 and those buggers were plastered on the rear window and no way to get in.

Uncle had standing seam roof on his barn. Every eight to ten years we had people that would come in a truck and replace any popped nails in the steel and spray paint the roof with silver fiber paint. Guy would scamper around that roof tied to a rope like a squirrel. Back then they used nails with lead to seal the roof. Now they use screws with rubber washers on them. Good value on a shed edition like that.
@FarmallFanatic6 ай бұрын
I didn't think they used any screws on standing scene
@mmielcarek30466 ай бұрын
Oh My! You are right standing seam they are covered and they crimp the joint tight all the way down. Uncle had the regular corrugated tin roof that had very poor galvanized coating that rusted. The underneath was in great shape.

Wow those are both nice. I have an 826 and love it only had it for 5 yrs now. Grease, oil, new batteries only thing I've done to it. After reading the comments I tend to agree that the 1066 may actually be a 966. The 6 bolt front wheels, the step up rear rims too 38's, I can not tell for sure in the video but the 3 point lift arms look lighter as would be on a 966. Both look awesome, just be sure. Can’t believe what a restored one is worth. But the 826 is a sweet machine! I have one I have to pay for and pick up when I’m ready. I’d go with the 826. It’s small enough for light work and heavy enough for tillage and heavier pto work. And if it’s something you’ve always wanted then that’s the obvious choice. Don’t get me wrong that 1066 is a beast but I’d take the 826. That cab even being in great shape is still a pain to get in and out of at least for me. 826 will handle 4’16s like a dream. Even pull a small chisel plow. And it can pull your existing equipment. Plus if you could buy the 826 and get a 450 why not. Can never have too many tractors 😆. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
