During the New Mandalorian era luxury goods were actually produced on Kalevala according to Legends which helped the backbone of the Mandalore system economy. Also speaking of economic exchange with the service of Mandalorians to Navarro they were given land for residency until the planet Mandalore is restore but wouldn’t Kalevala and Concordia be ideal as inhabiting for the time being since it’s closer to Mandalore and still usable land for them to create a temporary or satellite settlement.

I would guess that the Jedi vault works like an air gapped SCIF. There's probably some kind of Force opaque material that cuts the prisoner off from The Force.
