I have experienced almost 80% of the things you said in the video. I live in Germany since 1 year. I once had a conversation with a German friend who asked me what is my Parent’s job and when I told him my mother is a teacher he was like he never knew Indian women are allowed to go for work. I was like wtf. He said that’s what he have heard from school and media. Most common misconception is about all Indians are poor, we don’t eat pig or meat, all speak so called Indisch, it’s hot everywhere in India. But I have also met people who have traveled to India and even Kerala and knows and loves our state and country too.

I had similar experience in etihad airlines. The entire row was filled with Malayalees going to Kerala for onam. The flight attendant was white and she didn’t even ask if we needed vegetarian or chicken. She just assumed we are vegetarians and gave us vegetarian meals that was nothing but paneer and pulses. Normally I avoid vegetarian meals because it has items that does not agree with my stomach especially on a 16 hour flight. I thought the chicken ran out do I didn’t say anything. I ate only the rice and discarded the rest and noticed there were still chickens meals left and serving to other non Indian passengers. The entire flight my stomach was bloated because I didn’t eat much. Thankfully the flight attendants provided snacks so I felt okay afterwards. I learned the hard way because of my skin colour I have to let people know I do eat meat.

He was really puzzled and he had to make sure that it was not a mistake. I told him that I eat meat. The same guy was there when I went there again. ജോലിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി ആഗസ്റ്റിൽ ഞാൻ ഗൂർഗാവൂണിൽ വന്നു. എന്റെ ധാരണയിൽ ഗൂർഗാവൂൺ പണ്ടത്തെ മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ ചെന്നൈ പോലെ ആണെന്ന് ആയിരുന്നു. കണ്ടപ്പോ മനസ്സിലായി അത് അങ്ങനെ അല്ല എന്ന്. നോർത്ത് ഇന്ത്യയിലെ എല്ലാ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും നിന്ന് കൂടെ colleagues ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരുടെ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടിൽ കേരളം ഒരു നോർത്ത് കൊറിയ ആണ്. കാരണം കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ് ഭരണം. പിന്നെ സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻസ് എല്ലാം ഒരേ ഭാഷയാണ് പറയുന്നത്. നമ്മൾ എല്ലാ മൃഗങ്ങളെയും തിന്നും. സൗത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻസ് എന്ന് അവരു പറയാറില്ല. എല്ലാരും മദ്രാസി ആണ്. നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിൽ പെൺകുട്ടികൾ ജോലിക്ക് പോവാറില്ല. നമ്മൾ സ്വന്തമായി വീടുകളിലാണ് താമസിക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാലും അവരു വിശ്വസിക്കില്ല. കാരണം അവരൊക്കെ അപാർട്മെൻ്റടിൽ ആണ് ജീവിക്കുന്നത്. നമ്മുടെ വീടുകൾക്ക് കിണർ വെള്ളം ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാലും.. നമ്മൾ കുളിക്കുന്നതോകെ കുടിവെള്ളത്തിൽ ആണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാലും.. ദോശ, ഇഡലി, സാമ്പാർ മാത്രം അല്ല നമ്മുടെ വെജിറ്റേറിയൻ ഭക്ഷണം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാലും.. നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിൽ കറുത്ത നിറമുള്ള മനുഷ്യര് മാത്രം അല്ല എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാലും ഒന്നും അവർക്ക് വിശ്വാസമില്ല. ഓണം, പെരുന്നാൾ, ക്രിസ്തുമസ്, new year ഒകെ നമ്മൾ ഒരുമിച്ച് ആഘോഷിക്കും എന്ന് പറയുന്നതും ഒന്നും അവർക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമല്ല. മുസ്ലിം സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ ഉണ്ടെന്നു പറയുന്നതും isis ൻ്റെ ഭാഗമാണ് ഞാൻ എന്ന് പറയുന്നതും അവർ ഒരുപോലെയാണ് നോക്കി കാണുന്നത്. പിന്നെ നമ്മൾ ഒകെ കഴിവില്ലത്തവരനെന്നും നമുക്ക് രാജ്യസ്നേഹം ഇല്ല എന്നതും വേറെ. നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടിലെ എല്ലാവരും SC-ST ആനെന്നുള്ളതും നോർത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻസ് മാത്രമാണ് ഉയർന്ന കൂട്ടർ എന്നതും.. നമ്മൾ ചോറ് മാത്രം ആണ് കഴിക്കുന്നത് എന്നതും ഒക്കെ വേറെ കഥകൾ. അവരെക്കുറിച്ച് നമ്മക്കും ഉള്ള തെറ്റി ധാരണ വളരെ കൂടുതലാണ്. ഈ വീഡിയോയിൽ ഇന്ത്യക്കാരെ കുറിച്ച് വിദേശികൾക്ക് ഉണ്ടെന്നു പറയുന്ന പല ധാരണകളും നോർത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻസ് രീതികൾ തന്നെയാണ്. Engineer, Doctor... എല്ലാ നോർത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻസും നല്ല പോലെ പഠിക്കുന്നവരണ്. നമ്മളെ പോലെ അല്ല. വളരെ ലക്ഷ്യബോധവും അതിന് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള കഠിന പ്രയത്നവും അവരിൽ കാണാം. എൻ്റെ കൂടെ ജോലിക്ക് കയറിയ എല്ലാരും central govt. Jobs nu vendi prepare ചെയ്യുന്നവരും അല്ലെങ്കിൽ GATE, CAT തുടങ്ങിയ exams nu prepare ചെയ്യുന്നവരും ആണ്. ഇവര് അധിക നേരം ഫോൺ ഉപയോഗിക്കാറില്ല. ജീവിതം വളരെ ആസ്വദിക്കുന്ന കൂട്ടത്തിലാണ് ഇവർ. Dance, Cricket, Pub, Night Ride, Shopping, Night Fooding ഇങ്ങനെ ആയി അവര് maximum ആസ്വദിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. പിന്നെ എല്ലാത്തിനും ഉപരി 100 il 98 പേരും തീവ്രഹിന്ദു നിലപാടുകൾ ഉള്ളവരും ആണ്. രാജ്യസ്നേഹം, വർഗീയ വാദം ഇതും കുറച്ച് കൂടുതലാണ്. കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവരെ കളിയക്കുന്നതും വേർതിരിവ് കാണിക്കുന്നതും ottappeduthunnathum ഒരു ഹോബി ആണ്. ഇതിന് ഇടയിലും "മനുഷ്യർ" അവിടെയും ഉണ്ട്. സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന, ചേർത്ത് നിർത്തുന്ന, സഹായിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യർ!

Hi sir, Can u do a video on girls having to move into husband's house? I am a software engineer and my husband is a good man. Proof - He agrees to every video of yours. Now the one point where he is not ready to understand me is - I am finding it really difficult to live in his house (with MIL and FIL), which is surrounded by relative's houses, as I am a big introvert and his whole family is orthodox+extrovert+anti feminist. I tell him that I need my own space to think and flourish. It's been 3 years since our marriage and i still find it hard to talk to my MIL because of my inhibitions and our differences of understanding. There has never been any problems btwn myself and my in-laws, thanks to my introvert nature. The only thing is, I struggle everyday and it's a task for me to pass each day and i yearn for the time when I am alone in my room (happens rarely). When I talk about having a different house, we end up in arguments and he makes me feel like I've done some sin just by thinking about having my own house.. Hence, could you please do a video on that?

In many old Hollywood movies and series, Indians speaking English had their own particular accent which was kind of steriotyping every single Indian out there, but recently I see that has changed and now they use normal accent even for most Indian Characters.
