I’ll turn 73 in 2022, and I’m doing my second triathlon in my life in April. A Sprint? My first time was in 1999. So it’s been very long time in between these. Lucy you are a tigress and you inspire me greatly! The swimming is my weakness, and then the other two are so so. But right now, I just want to finish, and live to do another one as soon as I can recover and start training again. .I will be in the crowd in Dallas Texas in September at the PTO American Open. I’ll be looking for you! I know it’s a very large trip for you, but maybe it will be on your itinerary. Merry Christmas to you and Reese and Lola, And Holly!

Hey Lucy and Reece, I (Sandra 23) am incredibly enthusiastic about your channel. You always motivate me anew and especially this year, because the racing season started very well until an elderly lady overlooked me with her car at the end of May. I hit my head against a traffic sign and broke 4-5 cervical vertebrae and 1 thoracic vertebra. Fortunately, apart from a loss of sensitivity in this area, everything is almost as it was before. After a long rehabilitation after my operation, I would like to start a racing season again in 2022 with fresh motivation and all my strength. I want to show everyone out there that you can come back to what you love despite a serious accident. All love Sandra

I decided this year my goal is to race in my first ever triathlon, thanks to your channel! I have been cycling for 3 years and have been running every day since I got my dog Waffles 6 months ago. I am a horrible swimmer, even though I grew up on an island, but watching your videos made me excited to try something new! I love watching your videos and they help me stay motivated! Keep up the great work!!

I've been on a forced rest for far too long, most of the year, due to frozen shoulder and other issues. It's impossible to work out regularly when you're not getting any sleep due to pain. Just had my 3rd surgery of the year of yesterday and looking forward to starting building things back up in 2022. My goals for the year are racing steamboat gravel in August and now the newly announced PTO US Open in September in Dallas where I live now. Loved the video, makes me miss Christmastime in england (Yorkshire lad). Your mug you had for Reese at the beginning is awesome!!

So I've decided to start training for my first ever (sprint) triathlon in May 2022!! This is a really big deal for me as even though I'm a fairly confident cyclist, I'm very new to swimming (never swam more than 50m until about 2 months ago) and am not a big runner at all. However, I love the idea of having something completely new to train and work towards and to challenge my mind and body. My goal is really just to show myself what my body is capable of and simply completing the triathlon will be a massive achievement for me! Thank you always for your videos, you are both so inspiring!

I am resting up to give my best at three big challenges… I am doing a 70.3 here in July, not far from my home in Sweden as a get back from pandemic thing. My aim is to better my PR on 70.3 and really soak up the atmosphere. Then, in September I am going for a BIG challenge with an extreme triathlon, called Blacklake Xtri in Montenegro. It is an iron distance situated in the mountains of Zabljak, a nature reserve. It is something else and will be the effort and accomplishment of my life. But far more important than both these is what I am going to do in June, in Elsinore. My partner, Anna will be doing her triathlon debut. I have raced in Elsinore, inspired by Lucy last year, but this year all of my efforts will be focused on cheering Anna forward! Of course there will be battle braids! Big thanks for a great channel and supreme content. You are true role models and inspiration.

Hi, I’ve started to rest up for the end of 2021 by just building in some easy base miles into my week to allow the muscles to recover to prepare myself for a big race season for 2022. In 2021 which was my first proper race season I have qualified for 2 big races for 2022 which includes the European sprint triathlon championships and also the world duathlon championships (age group under 20s) races as I want to become pro one day my two main goals for next year are to win these two events and step it up a level then for 2023. Your youtube channel is the best one out there it motivates me more to get my sessions done especially when we were in lockdown thank you keep up the good work. James

2022 will drive me to my first olympic triathlon (hopefully)! So I'm actually trying to do a proper off-season, but I'm realizing that is not as easy as I supposed: I've been swimming (mainly, but always been passioned in many sports) for ages, but I've never found my self so passioned in structured workouts like I am now that I'm a triathtlete, even if from just one year. I think I'm completely addicted. Congratulations for the amazing season Lucy, keep fighting! And congratulations to your team also! You guys share always such interesting and inspirational contents..thank you!

My BIG goal next year is Challenge Roth, it would be my second full distance after challenge Wanaka in 2018 where I finished 3rd, I aim for sub 10 so serious training will start very soon ... keep going and all the best for your upcoming season , you're the best !

Intermediate goal will be a marathon in March where I am hoping to go sub 2h55min🤞🏻 very exciting! 2022! 2022 all chips are in to complete my first full distance Ironman @ Ironman Lake Placid. Its been a 4-year journey of lifestyle changes and training to get to the starting line of my first Ironman. I have lost over 60 pounds in the process of this journey, made to many new friends and found a true love for a sport I knew very little about. It all started with a 1 mile walk in my neighborhood and my journey will continue on leading up to IM Placid. Dec 27 begins day 1 week 1 of 30 weeks of training to this race. I have by anxiously counting down to jumping back into training. But as my friend says. Don't be a February hero for a July race. Love the Channel Lucy, Merry Christmas to your family and I look forward to cheering you and your husband on in a very busy triathlon 2022 season. Best, Eric Hayden

Resting up after not being able to do IM 70.3 WC after a health scare… (but I saw you win it!) Still have major lifelong triathlon goals, but next year my biggest goal after our spring wedding is hopefully to be able to start a family!!! While still trying to add in a few sprint tris, just for fun and to keep training with my soon to be husband :)

Resting up for 2022. Doing some fun runs through the winter. Taking on a few triathlons, 5ks and 10ks next year. (also, St. Paul was one of the Apostles).

New goal for next year - two Ironmans! Lake Placid and Sacramento. Off season ending as soon as the holidays do - can't wait!

Forced days off since I’ve had surgery on my jaw. So no activity for 7 days. But slowly starting to do some movement again. But I’m going to be training for my first full Ironman next year! Ironman Canada!!! Plus I’m going to sign up on Jan 25 for the PTO Canadian open race. So that’s exciting!! A goal of mine would be to do my Ironman in sun 12 hours. Another one is to qualify for 70.3 worlds!

My main goals for the next year are doing my first half marathon, improving my time on the sprint distance and doing my first olympic distance. For some it may not sound like much, but I just did my first sprint distance this year and have noticed a lot of potential things to improve. Absolutely looking forward to those milestones and loving each step towards them. :)

Resting up after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis earlier this year. That has made training and racing very difficult but hoping to get back and get stronger in 2022. Merry Christmas to you both and thanks for the videos this year - very motivational for me! 🙏🏻

I enjoyed just doing junk miles on zwift at a really low intensity, in order to get recovered for my first ever 70.3 in Austria, Podersdorf. I love your content guys, keep it up like that!
