My hallucination can very from happy to scary. Like last night I saw a shadow thing in the kitchen. Why I don’t know the shadow went on about his business and left. Then I say good night to the ghost downstairs why cause he just stands there but doesn’t come up. Then I go yell at the neighbors in my head good night and tell my sleep paralysis to F off. That’s how my day goes.

Fuck. You describe the voices the same way my mother did. She died 1 year ago yesterday at 61. She never had a day without being afraid.

I haveschizoaffective disorder but I still hear voices when I get stressed and anxious. I believe we are in the end times and I believe Jesus is coming. When Jesus comes it will be such a blessing. No more sickness. Not being weird or ugly but I pray you know Him. I know a lot of “Christian’s” who can be downright mean. He loves you and wants to protect you from the stuff coming. Crazy times we are all living in. People even building bunkers underground. Crazy huh? Anyways hold your head up. U are not alone in the struggle with our illnesses.

10 out of 10 for description. I've had schizophrenia for 15 years now. First got sectioned when I was 15 years old been in and out of wards just over half my life. I've been on most meds none have worked. and the only thing that helps for me is a medication called clozapine. Have to go get my bloods took ones a month aswell as yearly ECG's. The meds don't make everything magical vanish or disappear. They only make my day more manageable. I have a type of hallucinations called musical hallucinations aswell as voices. It's pretty much the same as hearing voices but only it's music. They can happen from the time I wake up and ther till I go to sleep. And sometimes can last up to 2 to 3 days on and off.

My uncle is also schizophrenic and he kept having hallucinations about squirrels talking to him lol

i’m not schizophrenic, but i do struggle with psychotic depression. it’s been awhile since i’ve had a psychotic episode, but they ALWAYS involve delusions of me being harassed or bullied. i’m convinced that everyone around me is laughing at me, or pointing at me, or just talking crap about me even if they don’t know me. i don’t know how many times i hallucinated girls in the hallway while i was in high school pointing at me and whispering. i have no clue if any of it was real to this day. it’s crazy what our brains do when we have too much dopamine

People who have auditory hallucinations in the East tend to hear happy, kind things while in the West, they tend to be darker and aggressive. It’s really interesting from an outsider’s perspective but obviously not great for those suffering them.

Hun, could it be that you’re hard on yourself and judging yourself harshly? And maybe you need to give yourself more grace. I suspect you can more easily access your subconscious than others and so it’s harder for you to function by just pushing negative feelings about yourself away. It’s almost as if you’re processing things while you’re awake instead of when you go to sleep like most people do in the dream state. I have recurring dreams until I solve the feelings that surround them. I don’t know if this is helpful, but I’m sending you love.

ADHD’er here but for the not wanting to get out of bed you can cut down a step for yourself by placing a glass of water or smth by your bed + yours meds so you can take em as soon as you wake up. Then while you’re slowly waking up your meds will start to kick in as well.

Can it make someone believe that one person said something awful even though the one who said it was the one who is hallucinating? My sister threatened to hit me one day then spun it to her husband like I threatened to hit her. She acts like she really believe it so much so that she claims that I choked her (Never even touched her). Idk how to get her help and she wigged out so much that she took my nephews away from our mom and I and it breaks my heart

Slow Release meds are very important so that you dont feel worse in the morning.

I thank God ur channel came up on my feed this morning. I had an uncle who ended up taking his life becuz of his schizophrenia & my family is still in denial about it. My brothers ex is also schizophrenic & the breakdown of their relationship was 1000% due to her illness. We tried everything as a family 2 rally around her but in the end she left him. She said we all hated her & were trying to kill her. She accused her MIL of poisoning her on the daily. Sadly, we were all ready to help her as much as possible & for as long as it took but her illness wouldn't allow it. My bro ended up w sole custody 10yrs ago & we haven't seen her since.

Its so sad that you actually have to inform someone that just bc you are interacting with a hallucination that isnt terrible, its NOT A PICNIC...People can be SO self centered & passive aggressive.. yuck. Sometimes we laugh when they're around 24/7..I mean, are you always supposed to stay miserable, weak, unhappy so people believe the depth of your battles?? NO! That person has never had to overcome a single day of your struggles!. You are strong, intelligent, & beautiful. Also funny + creative. They dont have a damn clue of the warrior you are. If it happened to that person, 6 months in they would probably not make it. And someone could point out that they were cracking up and having a great time on a particular day with the hallucinations...Like, what is this asshole trying to say. What a skid mark. But you, Lady you kick ass!
