I love your list and have found it to be very accurate. Thai women require a confident, stable, and loving partner and in return you will never be short of love, affection, and admiration. Are they jealous at first...NO. They are scared and do you blame them? If you don't understand why they are like that and are unable to deal with it effectively then you are not right for them because the reason is very simple and easy to figure out: Being a woman in Thailand (and most of Asia) sucks. You can be tossed aside for the new girl after a decade of being a loving and supporting partner for any reason. Men treat them like crap because they know they have the power. Accept that in the beginning she will be scared/jealous and act accordingly: Do everything you can to not put her in a position where she can potentially feel jealously...make a point of letting her know often that she is your partner and nothing is going to change that. Nothing is more effective than moving closer to her and showing the room that she is yours and you are hers in situations where she is faced with a potential rival (even something simple like an attractive greeter at a restaurant). That will give her confidence and the fear/jealously will become less of an issue over time. Is that really so hard compared to the constant demands of your American girl? LOL.

I've been married twice in the West, and I've dated several times since divorce. What you say is true. It's pretty much what all women want. And it used to be enough. Because a man would get what he wanted a stable household kids and a family and a legacy. But that has changed, even in Thailand. Unless you're in the ruling elite class but I know nothing of that. In any relationship there has to be compromised on both sides for it to work. Clear communication. And a true understanding of what that relationship is supposed to be and how it's going to be maintained on both sides. I wouldn't tolerate an abusive jealous woman. So the first time that happened either we would come to an understanding, or the relationship would end. I think that many of the men that get into problems, including myself in my marriages, either never knew that or forgot. I love Thailand. I love Thai women. At least many of them. I love how they keep themselves in shape, by eating right and taking care of themselves, I love their smile. But no one loves being taken advantage of, go to even have that attempted on them. People are people all over the world. They want a better life for themselves and their children, the least amount of pain and suffering, and at least a glimpse of a better future. You don't date the girls that don't speak any English. Many other girls do speak some english. If you're a main language is Kurdistan then I don't know what to tell you.
